Dude, this is really, really, *really* well written. Aside from the fact that I already know who the other characters are, and that helps with understanding some of Anna's origin, you almost don't need the SPN/AB histories to tell the heart of the story. If you go more in-depth with the character histories, you could very well write an original universe story line without borrowing. Although the visual of Sam in a towel is a bonus I will always treasure. ^_^ Hell, I know I'd buy your book. Seriously, though, this is very well written and I hope you haven't hit a brick wall with it.
Oh and I just wanted to add that perhaps you should add SPN as a subcategory. Though Winchester involvement is secondary to Anna, I don't believe it would matter once they started reading your fic. The flow of your writing keeps the reader engaged and it's never boring. The only side thoughts I had as I wondered what would happen next was where the hell was Dean? I started thinking he was a vamp or a ghost b/c of the way he was talked about but was never there to get mad over Anna driving the Impala or how Anna kept referring to the Chevy as Sam's. So now I *really* want the 411. On Dean and everything else of course.
So when all is said and done I say you get 15 thumbs up and pint to tide you over. ;) Sure that doesn't make sense but I'm dazzled by your creativity...and I'm a bit sleepy so please forgive my ramble if there is no sense to be made of it. :D
EDIT: I forgot to add that I loved how you changed up how the vamps died by combining the kill them dead method of SPN/AB with a bit of Buffy-puff of ash. Unless, of course you are treating the deaths the way they would affect the vamps if they were shot by the Colt. Either way, I'm lovin' it!

This is all very well written. I like how you're following LKH's style of writing in first person, since the main character is Anita's daughter.
I do have a question, though. In Chapter Five, the vampires are able to enter their house. In the AB books, a vampire cannot enter someone's home without an invitation. I haven't watched SN, so I don't know, but can the SN vampires enter homes uninvited?
Thanks for the great writing! Hope to see more soon.

Thanks for the feedback! With Anita being--whatever the hell LKH has made her--it seemed like there wasn't enough human-ness left. Since she owned the house, no invites were necessary. Of course, it'd make more sense if I somehow informed the audience of this. Sorry about the sloppy story-telling.
I normally don't review as much due to laziness and well I usually don't know what to write but I just read through your story and noticed that you had an unfairly low numbers of reviews compared to the quality of the story. So I felt it necessary let you know that I really like your story and that I'm very impressed by the update speed and the quality of it, so keep it up.

Thanks for letting me know what you think! I appreciate it. And, honestly, I never know what to write when I send someone feedback, either. I can't tell you how glad I am to hear people think this is well written. I'd been working on it for awhile without a beta and am glad it is readable.
Very well written. I'm only marginally familiar with the SN world, but this didn't leave me wondering what was going on.
The ending (at least who her mother was) wasn't a surprise, though. I think your summary gives a little too much away, although I probably wouldn't have read it without the summary, so I guess it's a catch-22. LOL.

It would have been more fun if I hadn't added the Anita Blake info to the summary, but you're right. No one would read it if they didn't know Anita was part of the story. Hate those catch-22s.
Thank you for the kind words! Hope you'll continue to enjoy reading this.
