Review of chapter "To the Moon and Back" from (Current Donor)NekoHibiki
Review:
There is a simple way to get rid of the Wall of the Faithless.

Just kill Kel.

Then take his place and order the Wall torn down and change the whole realm.
Comments from author:
Killing Kelemvor on his own ground would be a formidable task even for Shar - he's a Greater God too - and she has her own domains, plus her plan to replace Lolth as the chief deity of the Drow, and wouldn't want his on top of those. Also that might cause other gods to fear she was becoming too powerful and to gang up on her. Then there are the developments in 'Dangerous Moonlight' (I don't know if you've read that one yet or not) which make killing Kelemvor definitely a measure of utter last resort. She will attempt to resolve the matter by diplomatic means at first but when that fails (as mentioned by Dawn in 'A Plague of Serpents') she will take drastic action and that will be the subject of the forthcoming final story in the series, 'Welcome to the Black Parade'.

Review of chapter "To the Moon and Back" from (Current Donor)vidicon
Review:
An interesting development, thoough it does make me wonder about the relative strength of the various characters. From the way he influences affairs and the power of his spells I'd say Giles is the most powerful member of the group, but I may be wrong of course. But then again, to influence a goddess...

Just wait until he plays for Shar's party...

Review:
I spent the last few days reading the entire "Tabula Avatar" series. I've been riveted. The story has great depth and colour, and it's been wonderful watching Buffy and Co grow and change. Seeing Dawn come into her own was fun, and I especially enjoyed Giles's taste in music. Unfortunately, I never finished the "Baldur's Gate" (hardware problems finally led me to giving up on the game altogether,) but I loved the parts I did play.
Great job. This story is a massive piece of work, and I can only imagine how much effort you have put into it. Thank you.
Comments from author:
Thank you! Glad you liked it. BG2 was the first fandom I ever ficced and, although it is indeed a massive effort, it's a labour of love.

I'm 4,175 words into the first chapter of 'Tabula Avatar Book 3' now, and it should appear fairly soon (although I now have 4 days of 10-hour night shifts coming up that will delay it slightly).

Review of chapter "To the Moon and Back" from (Past Donor)Jewel
Review:
Lovely tale. Hope you are motivated to a sequel :)
Comments from author:
Thank you! There will only be a sequel if the subsequent events come out as too long to integrate into the main 'Tabula Avatar' narrative.

A revolution in heaven lead by Shar, Greater Goddess of Shadows, Compassion and Rock and Roll.
Comments from author:
Although Eilistraee will want a share of the Rock and Roll portfolio once she has heard Giles in action.

Review:
Frakking outstanding. Excellent rescue. Can't wait to see what's going to happen next. And did I miss something or did Shar just Quest herself? And is that even possible?
Comments from author:
Thank you!

She didn't formally Quest herself, merely expressed a fixed determination to achieve a particular end - she regards herself as committed to the task but she won't suffer any penalties if she fails.

Comments from author:
Thank you! I don't know if there'll be any more stories in this series, it'll be mainly cameos within 'Tabula Avatar', but if any other developments end up requiring too long away from the Buffyverse/BG2 characters they'll be separate stories the way this one was.

I wonder what it would take to have Ur step in. If Selune keeps acting in non-good ways will she receive a warning or fall first? what will the other gods of good do?

such an excellent story

Review:
Well that just sucks. But it looks as though Ao has already interceded since Shar has gotten less evil someone else had to become more evil, Selune.

I'm also thinnking that Shar is pretty smart, being a greater goddess and all, so she probably left instructions with Yoshimo for just such an occurance. Hope so anyway, might be interesting. Besides Buffy and gang have already defeated a god once, what's one more time and with the help of at least two other gods. I just hope that when Shar is eventually freed that she doesn't go on a killing rampage and wipe out all of Selune's worshippers.
Comments from author:
Thanks! You will see how it works out very soon, as I've written the whole story (3 chapters, 10,500 words) and I'll be posting it over the next couple of days.
