I just re-read your story & still think it's one of the most intriguing Xander as Sentinel stories. I love the quirky relationship between Xan and Jon via the dreams and nicknames. I also liked how you developed Jons friendships in HS. Jim having the deeper contacts than Jack was a nice switch too.

I really do hope you will someday write the sequel--there are so many loose ends & I really want to see how Jon & Xander do.

(maybe a side story where Buffy n willow get shown what real friendship is as Xander walks right by them to real friends)

I just reread the story from the beginning. It still draws me in. It's really nice to see you treating Jim with the respect due a Police detective and a Ranger. Jim is highly intelligent, very perceptive, and as sophisticated as the US military can make him. Thank you for showing that.

Great story.
I loved the way you had Jack put into place. He was being a bit cocky. I like your saying Jack and Jon being different. And the way Xander was trying to explain. I would really like to see a sequel developing their relationship as Sentinel and Guide. And hoping you're going to give some back story to Jim. I'd like to see the four of them talking to General Kinnock. Xander has a security clearance, that means that Kinnock will be aware of Xander or at least get his file now that his name is mentioned.

I have to say I liked how things played out, I'm glad Xander isn't indebted to SG in anyway, however, if he had ended up working with them I wouldn't be too upset. I just would feel that Jack and his compatriots deserved a bit of bashing for abandoning John. However, in Jim Ellison and Blair Sandburg's case, I would have had issue. LOL Lovely take on Xander being a Sentinel. I hope to see a sequel in the makings.

I noticed that Xan's relationship with Giles is doing a little better, I was hoping to see more of that, plus I'd love to see Buffy & Willow's reactions when they realize the person they pushed away for being too normal (breakable) really isn't.

Soooo... sequel... please? (need more of the purr-y black panther & the adorable white tiger cub)
