Review of chapter "Epilogue: Year Eleven: Time to Begin" from savingjuliet
Review:
Okay this is the 4th time in a week I've re-read this story, so you could say I'm a wee bit obsessed with it. But this story is amazing. The characterizations are incredible and original plot line and even just the idea is fantastic. And you portray Cordy perfectly (there just aren't enough good HP Cordy centered fics). I love this story to pieces and it is truly the one of the best pieces of fanfiction I've ever read. So now that I'm done dumping praise on you, I'm going to get down on my knees and beg you to update the next story in this series. So please, please, please, please, please with Spike and Angel on top update. hugs and cookies, savingjuliet

I'm glad you like it so well. And I thank you for your kind words. I managed to get only a little interlude when I poked at it. I'm just not in a Harry Potter frame of mind. Don't worry, I'll swing back around to it eventually.

I just noticed that you said only Edie could go to Hogwarts. Shouldn't Buffy's triplets be able to go to, considering that their father (whoever it is) is a wizard? Just wondering. As always, it gets better every time I read it.

Okay, I went back and skipped ahead to some of the later chapters because I wanted to see what happened when Marcus and Dawn went to Hogwarts. They flow so much better and are really enjoyable. I love them as much as the current story. Bravo!
Comments from author:
There was a strange learning curve with The Prequel that got easier as it went along. It's kind of weird that anybody noticed, though. Glad you liked them, at least.

“You should probably be made aware, then that the Dark Lord’s true name is Tom Marvollo Riddle,” Voldemort said.
Might wanna go back and fix that sometime.
Great story, love Cordy's baby collection!
Comments from author:
You know, sadly, it took me a moment to figure out why that was reading wrong. Jeez. I'll fix it when I can.
Glad you like and don't they rock?!

Review:
I've noticed there's no buildup here -- we just go from one scene very quickly to the next without any reprieve in between. This is relatively fine during a set of chapter, but within the same one, it's rather jarring.
Not to mention, Cordy's seeming to turn into some sort of superwoman here and since that didn't happen until Jasmine possessed her, which won't happen here, I'm at a loss as to why she's so capable and flawless all of a sudden.
Oh, but see -- that's the thing! The plot is amazing and I really think I'll be finishing this story because it's addictive! Everything else really turns into these speed bumps that sort of trip you up, but then you floor it again and you forget all about them!
Very few writers can accomplish something like that.

I'm going to assume that this story just wasn't your cup of tea. I'm sorry to hear that.

Well, you certainly have unabashed love for Cordelia, don't you? *waves off* There are some things in this that are downright implausible -- mannerisms, not actions -- but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief.
Also, that 'little hammer' is called a gavel. *nods*

Some of it I don't agree with, most of it I love, all of it hilarious so I'll definitely just go with it and resign myself to enjoying this walk on the wishful thinking side of season five/six, three/four. Bravo for this imaginative -- even for a crossover -- set up. And hooray, especially, for including both Harry and Neville in the awesomeness. I can only hope they still manage to meet Luna at some point as she's my other favorite character. *nods*

Oh man I haven't got the words for how much I love this wonderful fic. Many a time you had me laughing so thank you so much. This is an excellent fic and I am very eager to read the next part in this series.
Comments from author:
Since this is one of my favorite fics that I've written, I sort of get giddy when people decide they like it. It's just, it's so unabashedly crack!tastic. So, I'm glad you find it funny.

Faith's pregnant too? And I love how Dawn wraps Ollivander around her finger. She has joined the unique status of Luna and she didn't even need to be locked ina dungeon.
Nice to see that Ollie and Marcie still are't bosom buddies.
Comments from author:
Faith's not pregnant here. She's just sharing the joy of the threesome, is all.
And Dawn would be a seriously cute little kid. Ollivander is prepared for a lot of things but a Summers-Giles girl is not one of them.
Oliver and Marcus have their disagreements and rows like any friends. And then there's Quidditch. Which you will see later.

Review:
I love how Snape's all smug over what Marcus knows. And I love how Marcus loves his family. Hmm, was Bill there when Rona was? *Wriggles brows* And I love how she hugged him. I mean I know they are family but it's still cool to see, and to think that if a Marcus Flint raised by his parents and a potential slayer Rona had met, they'da probably tried to kill each other .. or shag. Not cuddle with affection and protection.
The entire seen between Snape and Buff was just classic, so good. And Oz's cackling so helped clinch it. I love her words, I could so hear that dangerous tone in my head. Fear the slayer Mr. Needs Soap! I adore Snape, but seeing him get smacked down is still so fun!
>>>One would think he’d never been struck by a woman with a baby strapped to her chest before. LMAO! Now that's my own cackle *bvwg*
Hm. They got schooled. Very pleasent.
Comments from author:
Marcus was six when he was brought to the Hyperion. He still sort of remembers life before and he knows he's got it better now. Hmmm, are you trying to get me to spill? As for the hugging, Rona's officially found herself as the older sister to some of the craziest kids on the planet. I like to think she enjoys it.
Oz loves that Buffy sticks up for Lycanthropes. And, most of the time, Snape's one of my good guys. He just, he didn't want to do that with this story. So he got smacked. Let's see if he got some sense knocked into him.
One of my favorite lines.
