I would love to know what happens next, in dare I say it a sequel.
Comments from author:
I want to write a sequel but I'm a little busy trying to finish up a few WIP and I just don't have the time to try to channel that kind of angst. For Dawn is an angsty one in this one. I have no idea why.

So she really was. Thought she was going to do it all on the ship, with the comment that their cargo was going to take up a lot of space.
Comments from author:
Yeah, they're coming back. I just, erm, have to write that part. But, no, magic is meant to be done on the ground not surrounded by a lot of metal and wiring that could be affected by the magic they're calling down.

>>That was after the fifty years it had taken her to notice that he was actually flirting with her, much to his father’s dismay.
*Snickers* Oh, Angel and his dismay and his inablity to stuff it. I love his dismay. He does that frowny sighy, then resigned face. It's a transition. It's so him. No one else can do it as well :-D
>>>Connor, even after five hundred years, had no more patience than the day he was born.
*Wide grin*
>>his two little rarities Awww, Mama Spike! *bg*
>>Mal was too like her sister, for all that he looked like Caleb. Zoe had her mother’s calm and strength. The pilot was the Whelp. Pretty Kaylee was Red. Simon had Giles’s class and smarts and most of Wesley’s lack of people skills. When the Companion walked in, Spike wanted to start hurling things about. Minus the profession and the stone cold bitchitude, she was Cordelia, all class.
I never really thought about it that way, but yeah. And it made me sniffle. I had to do some thinking on Zoe, Wash is always the easiest, Mal CAN be so like Buffy. Simon hits me Wes, with Giles sarcasm, and that Wes-ness when Wesley was in his element. Inara, Cordy, not afraid to step up to the champion and tell them they're an idiot all the while reminding them of their human side. But I am still a bit iffy with Zoe. I think Kay has a touch of Tara as well. All warmth and heart, she hasn't gotten quite as mother earthy if ever, but there is something there. Book's more Giles for me :-D
Only books? I thought it was them for reals *Sighs*
Comments from author:
I just thought it was funny that it took her 50 years to notice. Because Connor? Not really known for his subtlety. And that Angel noticed before Dawn. But, yeah, Angel would have serious problems because his son. And Buffy's sister. O_o
It's true! Connor will never be patient. Think of his fast metabolism. That sort of precludes patience. Right? That might only make sense to me. *shrugs*
Well, Angel keeps doing the Papa thing so they need a Mama.
On Zoe = Joyce: Remember, Joyce could be expected to stand up for hers. She whacked Spike over the head with an ax the first time she met him. Kaylee's pre-magic Willow to me. Because Willow could and did do the sweetness thing before she started gaining a little power.
And, yeah, only books. I *almost* went that way. But, well. You know.

I can't believe that I almost passed over this one!
>>>This is Connor Darling and Lyrie Wyndham. Our other associates are William Gunn Out of all them, these three struck me the most. I'm a little surprised by William Gunn but he did like his Chuck :-P Respected him even. It was't the first one I woulda thought but like the others, it does work.
Comments from author:
It's okay. It's just an 6 chapter ditty in a small fandom. Well, smallish.
It's been 500 years. I'm pretty sure they've tried every combination on their names possible. But, yeah, Spike liked his Gunn.
