Love it and can't what will be next. I would love to read the chapter where Buffy wakes out of her sleep and get Dawn.

I would love to read a chapter where Dawn meets Asher. I also like to read more about Mother and Buffy.

Absolutely superb. But it's been so so SO LONG since an update. I've been checking in on this story for ages, in hopes there might be an update this time or the next time or... It's too good to be abandoned, & I'm scared that you seem to have utterly done just that. Please don't do that. Coax the muses back out of hiding and update soon. Please.

So is the new series going to start soon? I would love to see what you do with Dawn and if the Scoobies ever learn the truth?

Sorry, but it's going to be a while until I get the second part done. I was halfway through when I realized it all wasn't working and now I have to start over from basically scratch. Understandably, it's not my favorite story at the moment.

Loved the mini-stories, especially the Mother's and the one from Buffy and Asher's childhood.

Masterful. You have captured the inhumanity of a creature that has lived/ slept so long and I actually was happy for the Mother of Darkness, that she has found her daughter too.
If Buffy were to bring in all those Echoes, or mini slayers that would help even up the war that is coming wouldn't it? Or would they not be allowed to act against the Vampire Council because slayers are only supposed to kill remnants?
Can't wait to see where you go with this in the sequel.

I hope you are not implying that Buffy was Darla, roaming around Europe with Angelus, Spike and Dru - since Darla was the only one missing from the party.

Thanks for the lovely reviews all around and no, Buffy's not Darla. I just never liked Darla and she did, at one point return to the Master. That's canon I think. If not, it is now. :)

Powerful chapter. I can just see Dawn working hard trying to prove herself worthy of Buffy's attention. Hopefully Buffy won't get herself killed before she can pick Dawn up, otherwise Dawn could be waiting a long time :(

No more chapters on "Rhyme and Reason", and not going to start the "Forge and Fathom" sequel? Or are the website settings for this series set wrong?

Yesterday I saw a statement on the Series page that said "This series is complete." (or words to that effect). It's gone now.

As of 200905201950UCT Rhyme and Reason still has a story status of Complete="Yes"...although I see your note on the Series page that SEEMS to state it's a WIP, but it's unclear because in every case, the last story mentioned before saying "WIP" is F&F. Also, sometimes authors don't clean up old notes. So...it's just...unclear.

So, I take it the R&R "Complete=Yes" status is incorrect, and F&F is still forthcoming.

Rhyme and Reason is on ice until I start posting Forge and Fathom, which might take a while since it's being a major pain in the butt. But I am writing it and I will finish it, if it's the last thing I do. So hang in there, baby. :)
