“No. The charges stand,” she said, looking Faith straight in the eye. Faith stared back, a look of surprised respect on her face as she nodded her approval. “This should hopefully bring Lady Attitude's ego down a bit,” Faith cackled in evil glee.
cool person, Faith

“You thought I'd hide in the bedroom from your family?” she asked, crossing her arms in front of her as her eyes narrowed even more. Yes, Alan was very familiar with the look on her face. It was the same look he'd often received from Margaret over the years; the one that said 'you're an idiot'.
great first meeting of the relatives!

Amazing story! I absolutely loved the relationship between Willow and Don. *sighs* They are very sweet together. Also her interactions with Charlie and Alan were just great... Especially Alan, I adored him to bits.
The plot of Willow losing all her memories and starting over a new, normal (non-supernatural) life was totally fabulous... Very interesting and well written too. Also the reunion between Willow and the Scoobies was wonderfully done. I liked how nothing was magically fixed, that they weren't automatically friends again, that they really are having to work on their friendship, re-learning each other... Great writing!
This fic was fantastic, I really enjoyed reading it!!

Thank you very much. I put a lot of effort in to the details of this story, so it's nice to know that it's appreciated.
And I've seen too many stories where magic fixes everything or that people never change. That was one of the big themes in this story for me, as a sort of pointed shot at so many other fics I've been reading over the past few years - where the characters go through all these experiences but never change, or they change into these awesome but damaged people who are practically Mary Sues. (It's a personal pet peeve - sorry for the rant.) My goal was to show how Willow had changed with her experiences, becoming stronger, yet not changing her core self, even though she couldn't remember who that was, and I think I did that.

I just spent a lovely Sunday morning reading this and it was great. I'm not big on Willow only stories (like at least some of the gang involved) but found this one very entertaining. It is even odder, that I am not a big Don fan either. That I don't usually care for stories without magic, and usually prefer slash relationships if the story is basically a romance.
So, it says a lot about the author's talent that I like this so much.
Thanks for sharing with all us lurkers, BB

Except for writing, I'm usually a lurker on this site, so I appreciate you poking your head out. I'm glad I could suck you into my Willow and Don world, and that you enjoyed it enough to continue to the end.
Thanks. :D

I can't say the ending was rushed since it doesn't read like a rushed ending. It more of just a stopping than an ending. It reads like there's a chunk missing between the last chapter and the end of the epilogue.

I left myself lots of little bits to fill in at a later time, if I get inspired. I had to stop writing additional scenes, or this story never would have ended (and probably still wouldn't be posted yet, as I don't like to post WIPs as I write them). :)
“I know one of the top snipers in the country, who just happens to have a soft spot for Willow. You make her cry - you wouldn’t feel it coming until you were face down on the pavement.”
Ok I read the above comment when I read then reread the story. Now having seen Number (many times and many episodes) I have a greater understanding of the above comment...and in context it is still pretty funny and by way of threats it's way better than any Scooby threat!
One more thing then I will stop, I blame you, yes you, for my new favorite show....Thank Goodness they decided to renew Numb3rs!

I love to suck people in to new fandoms! Glad I could oblige. :D
