After watching Buffy from the beginning Joan of Arcadia seemed to be too tame, I suppose I am desensitized to a more subtle tale after that show. I do appreciate and truly enjoy the fan fiction take on JOA. Yours, I enjoyed reading a lot.
This was such a nice little cross--lots of little bits that felt true to both series. (And I agree with you. So, so crusty Joan got canceled so quickly. The setup for the next season looked interesting.)
I agree with you about the tv series; it was awesome, but also not really mindless entertainment--it made you think about things, possibilities and consequences. I've never read a crossover with Joan of Arcadia before, but this was a good one if short. Feel free to post any more you might come up with.

I loved Joan of A and was sorry to see it go. I liked how you used the characters and how Joan's message was for her too. It was also a nice touch about the Rabbits. Something only Xander would know what it meant.
God *no pun intended* I miss JoA. You did a wonderful job crossing both shows and with making all the main characters sounding like themselves. You darn near caused me to tear up with Xander's message about Anya. Thanks for a lovely little story.
Thanks. This was fun. It's been a while since I've read anything with Joan.
Once upon a time, back when I was writing, I posted a chapter of 'Tales of the Barman' with Joan. It's chapter 217 if you feel like checking it out. (If you've never read 'Tales' I do recommend it, but I certainly suggest reading the first dozen chapters - or everything - prior to my chapter or you won't get it.)
