Review of chapter "...but somebody has to do it." from jrabbit
Review:
Just one question: where did you manage to find an infinite improbability generator?
Comments from author:
I had a conventional improbability generator and I told it to work out how improbable an infinite improbability generator would be, put it in a hot cup of tea, and went to a party where they were making all the molecules in the ladies' clothes simultaneous jump five feet sideways. When I got back the Infinite Improbability Generator was waiting. I subsequently was awarded the Galactic Prize for Extreme Cleverness but I'm now dodging a lynch mob of less successful scientists who are annoyed because nobody likes a smartass.

Review:
I liked it.
It's a pity about the no real people rule.
If you could have just done the whole story from Mike Rowe's point of view, it would have been a classic.
Comments from author:
Thank you.
I wasn't thinking about Mike Rowe - although his Valley of the Golden Mummies show does link nicely with Lara Croft - and the title, which I'm not really satisfied with, is really the only connection.
The 'no real people' rule has stopped me posting an AtS/Mythbusters crossover here, which I think is a shame.

Review:
I have to agree with Buffy, that was a disturbing image.
on the note of Olaf being a Troll god. I can't remember that being true. He was human before a being a Troll. And I don't think Anya had that kind of power to turn him in a God. The only thing Anya told the Scoobies was, that the Hammer was from a Troll God.
Comments from author:
The quote from 'The Gift' is:
ANYA: And Olaf the troll god's enchanted hammer.
As the reference is in Buffy's speech I decided to go with what Buffy would remember, rather than the objective truth, and that Anya quote was the last Olaf reference on the show and the one that I thought would have stuck in Buffy's mind.
