Nice, very nice. A bit hard to believe there at the end with Xander knowing Wizard law but I will suspend my disbelief long enough to read the next story - that bit is the only reason you got a '9' rather than a '10'. It would have been more believable to have Giles tell Xander off screen then have Xander use it during the interrogation. Also, not much of an interrogation, they have a chance to find out much more about the Death-muchies plans and what a Xander does is take over house Malfoy? He could have done a bit better - but only a bit .

I really enjoyed this, but you never established when Xander became so familliar with Wizarding law that he knew more than Malfoy.

I think one of my favorite parts about this was "and there will be no more 'House of Malfoy'," leaving Draco a Black cousin and inferring that perhaps larger houses can also split off to declare smaller houses. House of Granger, anyone? Sounds like a good graduation present for Hermione when the time comes.

Because there is more than one story out there on this theme, I thought it best to re-read. In terms of storytelling one nuance that I picked up that was good was the implication that the wizarding world was bigger than the characters that we knew - but that you weren't going to go into it. This was by saying "several hours later" before getting to Dumbles. You do still have a few word typos in this chapter - such as "when I am death" instead of "when I am dead."

Overall this holds up as entertaining and interesting.

First off. Nice story here. It could use some cleaning up. There are parts in a few of the chapters that could be a tad bit smoother. A few mistakes here and there, but nothing too big.

As for the Faith and Xander pairing, I like it but isn't it going a tad bit too fast? I don' like it when it takes forever to get them together, but having him ask her to marry him the very next day seems a tad bit too fast.

I cant wait to see what happens when they get to the Land of Tweed. Also if Xander can absorb the house of Malfy, Does that mean that the house of Potter can absorb the houses of Gaunt(Tom Riddle Jr.), Slytherin(Tom Riddle Jr.), and Crouch(Barty Crouch Jr.) That would put a strain on Moldyshorts finances.
