Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from deathgeonous
Review:
Hmm, nice. And it seems that you're doing a 'good' Dumbledore, a rare thing to see now a days I'm sad to say. Well, thanks for writing this, bye for now.

Excellent chapter! I love that Dawn and Harry don't have to be at the Dursleys anymore! Yay, for Dumbledore acting responsibly for once and actually doing the right thing for Harry (and Dawn) instead of what he wants or what he thinks is 'The Greater Good'. Very interesting twist as well. Loved it. I wonder who he will place them with now though?
Anyways, thanks so much for the update on this story, it feels like forever since I've read it! I look forward to reading more!!!

For some strange reason I feel that I have read some of this before, oh well I love this story so far and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment to this wonderful story.

I'm glad to see the update. This is one of my favorite 'wish-verse' stories and I would hate to see it abandoned. Keep up the good work. A lot of fanfics assume Dumbledore knew (or suspected) about the abuse, and while I think he was a manipulative SOB, I don't think he was quite THAT bad.

I just reread this story from the beginning, and I remembered why I like it so much. You have managed to make Dawn seem natural in this setting. She and Harry do come off as twins. The deviations from canon flow beautifully, although I did expect Draco to notice the Familiar. I thought he would be impressed by it.
I have one minor criticism: there is no need for lots of direct quotes from canon, reprints of the Hogwarts letters, etc. I've reached the point that I just skim the text of the acceptance letter and skip the Sorting Hat song completely.
I like this more alert and protective Hagrid. He was pretty much a doormat in canon, and it never really made sense to me. After all, he was abused and hounded out of his mother's tribe, and he was framed for murder. He *knows* how much damage people just casually do to children.
This story has a great deal of potential. I hope you come back to it.
Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from Angelfirenze
Review:
I'm really, really enjoying this -- though Hagrid's attitude towards Muggles and Slytherins, in general, is still rubbing me the wrong way.
Not to mention, all the direct quoting from the first book is a bit of a bother but not dampening my excitement.
I'm really curious what would happen if either Dawn or Harry were Sorted into Slytherin and Hufflepuff, respectively.
I'd love to see Dawn do something to Draco in the presence of all the Slytherins that would have him ostracized until he got his head on straight and for Snape not to make up an excuse to pick on either of them or accuse them of being anything like James.
In short, this is fantastic and I hope you update soon.

I don't remember reviewing this story earilier, but in case I did, it bears repeating.
I like this story. It's got a lot of potential to it.
I just hope that Dumbles isn't a manipulative old fart like his is in so many other fics. That's been done to death, in my opinion. Very well done in some cases, but done to death none the less.
I hope that this Kneazle pees all over Dudley's bed, shreds his clothes, makes mincemeat out of his fat calves, and claws up his face.
Maybe it could generate electricity through it's fur and shock the crap out of him; that'd be of the good.

Hmmm. Loving this, I don't believe I've ever read a fic where they both ended up with like wands before, quite interesting. Getting better every chapter. Can't wait for more.
Comments from author:
Yeah...I've read a lot where she ends up with one made from Angel's blood, or Slayer's blood, but I didn't want that...too cliche. Glad you like, thanks for the review! love xx Shezzi

I am really hoping for more! I love this concept, that they have each other to lean on, & can't wait for Dumbledore to hear about how they were treated, makes me think of the Goblet of Fire(movie) when Dumbledore burst in on Moody & Harry.....
