I really enjoyed the story, but I don't like the cliffhanger you left us! I look forward to you potential sequels and hope they come out soon.
Comments from author:
There's a sequel called "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing" that covers the worst of the cliffhangers. Thanks for letting me know you liked the story!

Review:
I particularly appreciated the bit with Buffy keeping the doctor from fully unleashing the terrible, eternal vengeance of a thoroughly ticked-off Time Lord on the Family of Blood, rather than just Slaying them (or, in this case, imprisoning them until their natural death sentence kicks in).

I'm sooo not reading this in chronological order. That's what I get for not having update alerts to my email. Anywhoo, I enjoyed this chapter a lot, simply because of the Doctor/Buffy banter and quip parade that you always come up with beautifully, as well as the points that hit home like, "I come with an expiration date." and such.

Review:
I have been phenomenally bad at reviewing this magnificent fic and for that I apologise most profusely!

There isn't much that I can add that already hasn't been said by other reviewers really other than this was fantastic and I enjoyed every chapter.

Your characterisations of Buffy, Martha and the Doctor were brilliant and spot-on and I loved the friendship between Buffy and Martha. Her relationship with John and then later the Doctor were also fascinating to read and I really liked how she tried to teach the Doctor that "Procrastination is Bad" by repetition (which seems very appropriate since the Doctor does sometimes come off as having the attention span of a fish!).

I think Tim's been mentally scarred by what he's seen in the Doctor and Buffy's minds though. :-D

The ending was, well, evil in that it's a cliffhanger, but great in that you brought them full circle! It's back to The Angels again (and man were they creepy!). When you do write the continuation, I'll be there with bells on!

I could go on and on but I'd better not. In case it wasn't clear enough. I loved this. :-)

Review:
Oh no! Buffy taken by the Weeping Angels again? And she and the Doctor were getting along beautifully too.

Nice moments between Martha and Tim. I like him sharing that he knows he's going to be ok in the upcoming war and Martha being able to share her thoughts about traveling with the Doctor. Great to have him sharing his perspective on the Doctor's mind and how he counts on Martha. Nice moment with him sharing about the celery and Buffy's inappropriate thoughts. :)

I'm quite thrilled about Martha borrowing Joan's castor oil. Good on her! The least the headmaster deserves.

Buffy's lesson in "Procrastination is bad." also quite marvelous. Love how she worked that around to a carpe diem moment with the Doctor. You captured the voices of Buffy and the Doctor beautifully here. I like that they shared a bit of what they gleaned from each other's minds. I have to admit it broke my heart a little when he asked Buffy to come with them, because she made him happy and less lonely. Loved the smoochies at the end. But back to the Oh no! of the angels. *sigh*

Really enjoyed Martha and the Doctor's hug and her catching on so quick to the happenings between Buffy and the Doctor. And being so great about it as well. Loved Martha giving Tim the rest of their wages and the Doctor giving him the watch. I really liked Tim and the way you kept him involved in the story.

I liked Martha getting a chance to smirk at Buffy a bit, dealing with the Doctor's driving. :) Loved the Scooby Doo comment from Martha.

So what happens next? Do they find Buffy again? Can they get their happy ever-as -it -can -be -for- as -long -as -Buffy -lives after?

I absolutely adore your Buffy and Doctor, all of your stories. Now I don't know which one to wish for updates. Whatever comes next, it's always a pleasure to read. Thanks so much for all the great stories!

with the doctor in pursuit I hope.... possibly she ends up in the Harry Potter-verse or some other 'verse....
Comments from author:
In the original script, the same angel will send people to roughly the same place. They're all touched (tee hee) by the same angel, so they all wind up in the same place.

Review:
A very interesting ride! Even though I am not familiar with Dr Who/Torchwood, I decided to read it bcs Buffy is my favorite character. I really enjoyed reading this, espeically Buffy's interactions with John. I am a bit confused by the ending, what does it mean? What is Wester Drumlins? Thanks for a great read and I look forward to more fics about the two of them!

WoW! I didn't realize I was the 100th reviewer! Congrats on your achievement! I feel honored that you are letting me request a fic! I am new to the Dr Who world. I was looking through your stories wondering what to choose and what worlds you would be familiar with. I would absolutely love an Anita Blake crossover! I love how similar Anita and Buffy are and how authors have them interact with each other. I'm also partial to Buffy/Asher fics. But if you're not familiar with the Anita Blake world, I would love to see a fic that would display any potential conflicts that "John" might have on Buffy's and the Doctor's relationship. I felt that John and Buffy's potential romance was cut off too short and would love to see how it would affect Buffy and the Doctor. Thanks again for letting me request a fic!
Comments from author:
Wow, thanks for trying a new fandom with me.

If you're not familiar with Doctor Who, it would be confusing. Wester Drumlins is the house where the Weeping Angels lurk. The Weeping Angels are hunters that move incredibly fast, but turn into stone statues whenever they're observed. They feed by contact: one touch and the victim is sent into the past so that they can use up your potential future. In this story, they can also send you to a different dimension, that's how Buffy wound up in 1913 in the Doctor's universe. And then, at the end, she, Martha, and the Doctor have all just been sent to 1969.

Really, if you choose to watch only one episode of Doctor Who, the Weeping Angels episode "Blink" is the one to watch. Creepiest villains ever.

Also, you've won a prize. You're the first person to ever post review #100 to a Dr Who crossover on this site. In recognition of this achievement, you get to request a fic. No rules, but it probably won't be of epic length. Also, if you request one from a different fandom, seeing as you're not much of a DW person, it'll have to be one that I know.

Thanks for the review and congrats!

Another great story in your never-ending portrayals of Buffy and the Doctor. i never tire of your writing nor your characterizations. Can't wait to see where Buffy pops up next and when the Doctor will find her.
Comments from author:
I apparently have a thing. And a ship. When I started writing "Another Side" more than a year ago, well, I never thought it'd be more than one story. Now it's my thing. Kind of weird. I'm going to have to branch out sometime, but seeing as there's not a huge Buffy/Ten ship community, it's not like the field is going to oversaturate too quickly. Anyway, glad you're not tired of them yet, and that you enjoyed this one.
