Review of chapter "Chapter 12: Frienemies P3" from kalahari
Review:
The generation gap in computers was/is there.
As a child, computers were science fiction for me, only big corporations had them.
In West-Germany computers became visible around 1980, starting with the Apple II and the Commodore PET. Both have been build since 1977.
I started with computer science after switching schools in 1980, but not many schools carried it than.
Programmable pocket calculators (TI 59) became affordable about two years early.

To me the order of appearance was something like this:
electronic desk calculator ~1970
color TV
VCR
CB radio
early TV games
programmable pocket calculator
home computer ~1980
FAX

Review of chapter "Epilogue." from Amai
Review:
I read the beginning of the story ages ago, and only recently refound the link, and was delighted to see it had been much updated since I last read it. I love how thorough and convincing your research is and the skillful and believable way you are handling the characters.

Before I hurry off to read the next one I figured I'd comment on two of your notes. Neither thing I'm commenting on detracted from the story, but I figured I'd offer what I know anyways since you've done a remarkably large amount of work to maintaining accuracy.

"I couldn’t remember if Buffy having any actual relatives in the canon was ever mentioned, though I think a few might have been. But couldn’t figure out where. Therefore, the random ‘great-aunt’ on Joyce’s side of the family got the first name ‘Kristine’, after the actress who played Joyce: Kristine Sutherland."

After Buffy gets accepted into northwestern in S3 Choices, Joyce says:

"Ooh, you know what? Your aunt Arleen and her family are in Illinois. I've got to call and tell them."

Also, Buffy's her cousin Celia (the one they mentioned in death itself) must have had parents, although there is nothing that specifically says that wouldn't be the ones mentioned as being in Illinois.

-

"Yes, Willow’s gifted with computers early in the series and a super-witch later in the series, but I didn’t see the
combination in canon."

Smashed S6:

"Willow pulls out her laptop computer and sets it on the table.
BUFFY: Oh. Hey, cool.
XANDER: All right, back to basics. A little old-fashioned state-of-the-art hacker action.
BUFFY: That's great, Will, I haven't seen you do that in a long time.
Willow puts her hands over the keyboard, not touching it. The keyboard glows with a pale yellow light.
BUFFY: (to Xander) I-I don't remember that part. (Buffy and Xander staring at Willow)
WILLOW: (staring blankly in front of her)
It's quicker. It'll just take me a sec to go through the files. Okay. Internal police report.
Buffy and Xander exchange a concerned look."

I just read the whole story, and I think you did a very good job. I liked the differences that resulted from Buffy and Charlie's meeting -- I especially liked Angel's House development. And the curse on the O'Connor name was pretty creative and funny, too.

I also enjoyed how the empathy the two of them got really helped them mature, and gave them a great leg-up in their respective jobs and lives. I especially liked how Buffy and Faith related better since Buffy could tell what Faith actually meant as opposed to what Faith said. I also really liked how the Buffy and Charlie's families were awesome and supportive. To sum up: I really enjoyed this story. Thanks for sharing!

Great update and ending. What a perfect way to end this part of this story with Charlie and Annie talking on the phone.

Well, I have to say, I was surprised to see this updated and also that it was the epilogue chapter. It was a nice summary of stuff though. Also, I'm kinda glad that you're not going to do every Buffy episode. Onto HH now.

Review of chapter "Chapter 12: Frienemies P3" from KazeMidori
Review:
I'll admit, my first thought was that Pensie was jealous of BUFFY, not Charlie. It would explain all the attention that Pensie lavishes on Charlie and his work, like he never grew out of the 'bug my crush to get them to notice me' phase. And I admit to having a huge ole grin on my face when that thought occurred to me. And about what kind of choice words big brother Don would have to say about it. I get the feeling that he would have a few words to say anyway, but not much he could do. After all, even if Pensie isn't trying to attract Charlie's attention, he is still academically bullying him. And looking back on the first episode we meet Pensie in, he was remarkably forthcoming for an enemy, or a rival.... My social skills are rather low, so either I'm reading too much into it, or Pensie wasn't hot enough for the slashers to pay attention to.

Just revisiting this - hope you're inspired to write some more soon. In the hopes of which, you may be interested in this:

"An analysis of the predator/prey mathematical model of Vampire Ecology" in the Jossverse by Brian Thomas (ex Stanford University). Can be found at
http://www.hphomeview.com/Tips/Vampire%20Ecology%20in%20the%20Jossverse.pdf

It's perhaps the sort of thing that Charley might either come up with or read. Although I have to point out that he'd probably find it interesting but fairly simple - the maths in it is roughly second year university level and so rather beneath him.

This is one of my favorite stories. I hope you have not abandoned it and that there will be an update soon. I noticed that you had not updated any of your stories since the end of March. I know real life can often get in the way and hope that everything is okay in your world.

Just noticed I hadn't read this chapter yet today, am very glad for the entertainment it delivered.

The idea of Potential fighting the Council is interesting, though Buffy might want to be a little wary of them. Hopefully they can make a difference.

This universe has quite a lot of potential because of all the changes that can be made from hereon out.

I'm really liking the fact that you're starting to work against the Willow/Xander fiasco, even if The Wish arc may have been interesting to read. A whole lot of badness for Cordelia can hopefully be avoided.

Looking forward to the next arc!
