love the poof Jr. and pure spikeness of this story. i think it would be fun if you introduced Bella to some of the Angel and Buffy characters like Angel and Buffy themselves, or Willow and Andrew and Gunn.

Yay, update! I just wanted you to know that I love this story--it's possibly my favorite Twilight story! Probably mostly because of the way Edward is portrayed (you might not, but I do hate him), and Bella is actually a character here! She does have a will of her own! And your portrayal of Spike--just awesome. Can't wait to see how Edward's plan works out!

I'm with Spike on this one ;)... Edward is a poncy poof, who, hopefully would not hold the same appeal to a 26 year old adult as a 17 year old girl. As someone firmly on the other side of twenty five, I could tell you I know which one I'd like to take home at night, and he doesn't glitter ;).

I like how this is going, and I like the drama... and I think it's a good 'coming of age' story for Bella, even though it is from Spike's perspective.

Are you going to bring any of the other scoobies into this?

Wow now this a badass story! If Edward does somehow beat Spike or the other way around they are both bringing in the back up I bet. Man now that's a showdown. The Fang Gang and The Scoobies vs The Cullens. And Angel is gonna be pissed, afterall Spike is still his "family." Oh I also saw that you put Spike gave up on Buffy because she went with Angel? I may have read that wrong but I saw that. Either way I've always been a Buffy/Angel fan, but now I'm also a Spike/Bella fan hahaha!! Keep it up and update!!!!!

love the way your writing this in the twilight style. even if Edward can kick Spike's arse with little or no effort that would just bring the Scoobies down on then like a ton of bricks, and maybe make Willow very cranky. lets face it Bella has some serious issues, with Edward walking away like he did. I'd look at it like the way Oz give up his shot with Willow when he left her, he had no right to complain about her finding and loving Tara. He lost his shot and should let her get on with her life. It's been a few since Spike really had a good throw down, you know back against the wall nothing but fist & fangs a-flying. I think it'd do him good, might even convince Edward that he could protect her. When he went up against Alice he didn't go Game-faced if he managed to get a-hold of Edward and sink his fangs would it maybe give him the edge he needed to beat him like Angel got from whats-his-name in the series finally. I vote spike can take him, remember spike has taken down some Bad-arse Demons like the one that Traded places with Buffy in that ep in season 7. and remember that Bella's idea of her friends strength is based on a human view point. it seems to me if her kind of vamps were really all that much stronger they'd be big bads in the demon world. *end semi-willow-type-babble.

Poor confused Eddy... doesn't want to be with her because he "loves" her, but still thinks he has the right to control her life. He's probably boiling over the fact that he made this grand sacrifice for her welfare, and she ends up dating a vampire anyway... and one with quite a reputation ;).

Maybe Bella can just refuse to invite Edward in -- let him sit and fester in the doorway ;).

*gasp* Uh-oh! A showdown between Edward and Spike! I can't wait to read the next chapter!!
