You know Ben and Ian here have a striking similarity to some of Buffy's relationships, Buffy and Spike coming to mind. I love that you found a way to bring Ian back, gave Ben back a connection he'd been missing. It is hard to go through life without someone who has a true understanding of you or something you're passionate about. Once you find it, hard to give that connection up. I like that not only did Ben find a way to reclaim Ian, so to speak, but that Ian was willing to re-establish that connection as well. I'm hopeful enough to think it's not just a way to get out of prison and perhaps kill Ben later in revenge. :)
