This is pretty good so far. I like that you are setting it so early on, and it would be interesting either way with canon Buffy either pre- or post- 17th birthday. Your writing style is good and I'm looking forward to reading more.

Cool story. Is there a reason he's looking for her now? Or is it just a matter of him knowing all of his family. I really hope that they meet like when she's saving his butt or something. Especially if he pulls that macho crap about saving the 'damsel'.

So this is before he picked up Sam? I'm intrigued! So he must have -some- idea that she's involved in something right? Otherwise why would he risk a civilian? Unless... he's going to use her to get Sam to come with him. Ooooo.... Waiting for more :)

Short, but well-written and fun! Dean's voice was very well done. I am surprised, though, that Buffy didn't realize she was being watched and confront him.
