OK, you've made the Dr and co come alive for me in a way none of the few other Dr Who crosses I've bothered to read have done. Suddenly, I'm dying to watch this show! I liked the way you crossed this. Very plausible and it worked well. Your characterization was strong if a bit cliche.

I think Buffy may be a little optimistic about Riley's involvement with the bio-weapon...he's totally in on it. Poor Spike, good luck to him trying to get the Doctor to pay up if(when) they meet up in the future.

OK, now THAT was brilliant; my favourite Doctor/Companion group- the Tenth Doctor and Martha; Rose was too dependent on the Doctor for my tastes, although Donna worked well as a friend-, combined with some rather amusing moments of character interaction, particularly when Jack somehow managed to make all that stuff he said about biological weapons sound like subtext for suggesting that he and Buffy do it...

The Ninth Doctor was right; coming from Jack, “Hello” is flirting.

Plus, of course, you capture the Tenth Doctor’s traditional babble EXCELLENTLY; nice bit of work, to say the least.

I really enjoyed this. You had a very nice Buffy voice, and your take on the rest of the characters was spot on. Especially this one:

I loved Jack's try to seduced Buffy indirectly and the doctor's efforts to prevent it.
A sequel (with some good Buffy/Jack scenes) would be great.

This was definitely fun, and, well, considering how much I didn't like the original Riley-comes-back episode, I'm always grateful for fun rewrites. While I can't point at anything I didn't like, I particulary liked the comment about what Jack really said followed by the sexual intent behind it, and this part "Do I trust a crazy vampire and three other even crazier people who apparently travel around in a box doing God knows what (although I can guess) or a man I dated for a year, who is such a Good Guy that even Spike calls him a Pillar of Rectaltube? She frowned. That last phrase didn't sound right, even in her head." It just sums everything up so well. Hee. And Riley, a Rectaltube. I'm going to have to remember that, because, well . . . it's a perfect insult.

Nice to see this one here. It's a pity that you didn't put it up in 2008 as then I would have been able to nominate & vote for it in the CoA Awards; as it is I had to vote for something that wasn't anything like as much fun. I'll have to wait for next year.
