Very nice. I don't think I've ever seen Tony (or Gibbs) as an Immortal--other than as vampires that is. Each moment really captures Tony's voice very well--you don't need more because it sounds just like him. I also like the moments in time you picked.

May one hope that a longer story could spring from this one day? If not, that's alright. It's good as is.

I'm getting inklings for either smaller short stories or a longer plot line... The little verse grew from just that first drabble. I was watching the first episode of ST:tNG and had the though of what Gibbs would build in his basement far in the future and what Tony would say when he saw it.

Then after I wrote that, I wanted to know more about how they became immortals. :-)

There's one NCIS/Dark Angel/Highlander fic that has Tony as an immortal. I think there's another one with him as immortal too... I also seem to recall a fic with Kate being immortal and Methos picking her up after Ari shot her and she had to go into hiding or something because it was a very public death. I don't think I finished reading that one though.
