Having Inara's life over-shadowed by death (her mother's, and then her own) gives a fascinating and very moving new insight into her actions and choices in the series and the BDM. Beautiful job!

Apparently there were rumours from Firefly/Serenity people that the thing Inara was running away from was the fact that she was dying. I thought I'd use it.
Now I just have to work it into the general Decalogue verse and we're off to the races...
