this is a story I'd love to see continue. The two of these are a pair made in heaven... either as buddies or as something else. (not looking specifically for a romantic pairing) Anyway, amusing, intriguing... more-ish.

I'm so thrilled to see another installment in this series! And it's particularly satisfying to see how Spike and mini-Jack (who's not so mini, now that he's gotten that teenaged growth spurt, if he's now six feet tall) furthered their acquaintance and introduced each other to some (but by no means all) of their respective weirdness.

I like this series. Spike and mini-Jack (two of my favorite characters) are great together, with excellent snark potential. I like how you're handling Jack's acceptance, based on what he's been through, and of course Spike's plan to not reveal he's a vampire is working out about as well as most of his plans seem to. I'm looking forward to more of Phoenix Investigations.
