Loved the fic. I think you captured Dexter perfectly. When reading it I could perfectly picture Dexter and what was happening. Hope to see more from you.

Hmmm- the only time Dexter felt fear was when his Dark Passenger went awol in the books (Dexter in the dark). It is highly likely that, faced with another demonic entity the DP would back away again, letting him have the fear response. Which makes his Spike reaction make total and perfect sense.
All in all, I loved it. Hope we can have a sequel :)

I've never read the books, I've only seen some episodes of the 1st and 2nd season and some of the new ones, I mean I know about Miguel and all. But I can't recall anything about a dark passenger which I'm assuming is his nerve or something along that line. I'm super glad that you like it and I guess I'll give myself to the bunnies and work out something for a sequel. I'll also have to brush up on my knowledge of the show, so I'll see if I can get the book(s).

Ive never actually seen the show since I don't have cable, but I couldn't resist reading your story. I really like it though! Perhaps I will have to look up the show on netflix.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It's a bunny that's hounded me for a while and insisted to be written last night. Now it's spawned thousands of other ideas. Dexter is a very interesting show, It's easy to get wrapped into it. It's basically walking in the life of a killer and seeing the way he justifies each kill and you can't help love him.
