I like the idea of Sam and Dawn interacting at that point in their lives and Dawn's catch of the unique-possibly dangerous-ness of Sam/Dean's necklace. My only issue is the amount of 'creatures' Dawn's already taken on and won against. She was fourteen, possibly fifteen, at the end of season five with absolutely no training or reference of knowledge. That one moment tarnished an otherwise highly enjoyable ficlet.
I liked the similarity between Sam and Dawn - and, now that I think about it, both their siblings are due to come back with a side order of angst, which is something else they've got in common. I'd be interested in seeing more of this, especially if they end up hunting together.
