Very interesting. My only experience with dune is the older movie, and the two newer SciFi channel mini series, but I like this. Keep up the good work.
Very cool story. I look forward to the Slayer-Old Ones War. I just wonder what the triumphant Slayers will do with the God Emperor when they return after they win. If they win, of course.

I really, really like your story thus far. A little more detail, and a little less jumping between the scenes would be appreciated. As t is it"s stil very good, but it just barely wets my appetite and thus it's torturing me...
A little nitpicking: It's Liet and Liet-Kynes, not Leit. And the training technique is prana-bindu not para-bindu.

Your story is both wonderful and wonderfully strange. And now it has a bit of a Lovecraftian feel also. I guess Leto thinks it is time to turn loose the Slayers. I wonder if the God-Emperor really remembers about the bad history of Slayers versus Very Large Snakes. Lol! I look forward to more of your engaging and disturbing tale.

Excellent job of capturing the spirit of Frank Herbert's Dune books. I have no idea of where your story is going, but it looks like an interesting journey. I wonder if the Bene Gesseret are the descendants of Slayers?

Hmm... It's difficult to understand a rocket launcher surviving all this time. (Ok, I realize it's not "the" rocket launcher, but even so.) The scythe on the other hand would have been a much more important item.
