Review of chapter "Chapter Sixteen - Echoes of a Life" from kayron
Review:
Just like everyone else, I have seen Star Wars. I knew that this was not going to be a happy ending. I was right. Sad.

Review of chapter "Chapter Fifteen - Lover's Promise" from kayron
Review:
I hope that Obi-Wan can find and save their children. If he has to follow cannon, and can't stay with his family, then Obi-Wan should at least be able to get the children back to his mate.

Review of chapter "Chapter Fourteen - An Evil Deed" from kayron
Review:
This sucks! Not the writing, but what happened. It was bad enough that Obi-Wan made the decision to leave his family, but now freakin' DARTH VADER has come and kidnapped the kids to give Mara to Palpatine! Couldn't he have left the boy alone? It's bad enough that their father left them. They could have at least been left in their home.

Review of chapter "Chapter Thirteen - Difficult Decisions" from kayron
Review:
Duty or Family? I can't say that Obi-Wan made the right choice.
Comments from author:
I agree. But it would have been OOC I felt for him to choose family. Not to mention that then it wouldn't fit in with canon that way.

Review of chapter "Chapter Thirteen - Difficult Decisions" from mithrilandtj
Review:
How could he just leave like that?
Comments from author:
Obi-Wan is a Jedi, first and foremost. Not even love could change that. But he doesn't leave forever...

Review of chapter "Chapter Twelve - In the Lightning Storm" from AmethystSiri
Review:
Great chapter, but I don't want Obi-Wan to leave Aragorn :( I will be looking forward to the next chapter, and hoping for a happy ending :)

Review of chapter "Chapter Eleven - A New Generation" from kayron
Review:
Somehow I would have expected Obi=Wan to have the babies. Nice update.
Comments from author:
I figure since Aragorn is part elf (though it's a tiny, TINY part), it made more sense for him to be pregnant. Chalk it up to elvish magic. Thanks for the review!

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine - A Look Into the Mirror" from kayron
Review:
The visions were possibilities of what could happen based on his decisions, right? If he stays he'll have a family with Aragon. If he leaves he'll live his Star Wars life. I can't see Obi-Wan bowing out of the fight though. Even if he could have a happily ever after if he stayed. Obi-Wan strikes me as a self sacrificing/do the right thing type of Jedi. Thanks for the update.
Comments from author:
You're certainly right about Obi-Wan. I wrote this story with the intent that it could fit into the prequel trilogy without screwing up TOO much that's in canon, so ultimately, you know where Obi-Wan ends up. I do twist things around a bit though. Thanks for the review!

Review of chapter "Chapter Eight - The Dark Side in Middle Earth" from kayron
Review:
I find it very interesting that Obi-wan feels so connected to the power of the Elves. Does this mean that The Force somehow originates on MiddleEarth? Or do the Elves connect with the Force through space (as an outside source of power), and just think that it is a natural part of them? At least Obi-Wan is able to use it to help himself and Aragorn.

Review of chapter "Chapter Seven - The Start of the Journey" from mithrilandtj
Review:
How can Obi-Wan not have known what a MATCH was?
Even if they're not used any more, there should be a historical reference.
Comments from author:
That's a good point. Sometimes I get caught up in the idea of Obi-Wan being totally flabbergasted by the lack of technology on Arda. Thanks for the review!

Review of chapter "Chapter Seven - The Start of the Journey" from JaredDrake
Review:
I haven't read your story. I don't read slash. However, the MPREG warning did make me ask this...

How does MPREG work exactly? Does the guy give birth through his ass? where does the baby develop? Males aren't made to carry children to term. Unless there's gender-bender involved?

I'm seriously waiting for an answer. MPREG doesn't make sense. Even for fanfiction....
Comments from author:
For my story, the baby is delivered by c-section. I can't speak for other authors, though. As for the science of it, that might just be one of the artistic licenses of fanfiction.
