An interesting story. I felt you really got the characters of the Bones show well, and a reasonable interpolation of where Xander might be. I do wish it had been continued.

Xander and Angela... now there's something that'd be fun to see (and Hodgins being snippy about it). Also it's somewhat curious that Xander's not wanting blood - sure, the girls are not his Slayers personally but it's something he might take offense to.

First time I've read this story and it's been very enjoyable so far. To recap, seemingly, a bunch of Slayers were kidnapped, tortured and finally killed, most probably in a ritual of some sort.

The Bones team is on the case and since it was flagged, the Council sent in Xander to 'observe'. And as per usual, we've got Seeley not liking having to share with other agencies, Brennan and Co. demanding information etc. Of course, Xander can't reveal anything until they've come to their own conclusions.

A pretty good setup and so far, you seem to have the Bones characters down pretty well. Even the stilted way Temperance acts is conveyed rather nicely. Xander I can't comment on, since he's been only shown sporadically in the second chapter. Although, I'm surprised he didn't have more of a reaction to Booth.

I'm looking forward to reading more of this, when you get the time and inspiration to write it.

Oh, so I thought the mauve and blue woman was Illyria up until you mentioned the demon-like enlargement of her mandible (jaw/teeth?), so now I'm thinking she was a demon/part-demon that had been called as a Slayer? :)

OMG this was great and very very detailed. Wow and again I say WOW. I thought for sure that Xander was going to say Willow read Tempie's book, but SPIKE read it! ROFL that was priceless. I would love if you continued this.
