Review of chapter "Chapter Thirteen" from Eureka
Very good ending. Are you going to do another installment on where they go next?
Comments from author:
I'm glad you liked the ending. As for another installment, yes, it's almost ready to be posted, or at least the first chapter. Anyway, in the next part they'll be landing in the "Dusk Till Dawn" universe.

Review of chapter "Chapter Twelve" from Eureka
OK, finally caught up, and I have only one word to say.. WOW!
I love how you have turned things around and everything. Hope you find your other notebook.
Comments from author:
*blushes* Thank you, and I'm glad you've enjoyed how I've twisted things.

Good news is that shortly after I posted the most recent chapter, I found my notebook! Actually, I found about five notebooks during my search, so YAY! Still two were empty (brand new ones that I lost), another with older stuff that had all ready been finished or at least posted, and that wonderful little magical notebook with the rest of my Consequences stuff.

Still I can't say that means there won't be more delays, I am (at least) hopeful that the next two parts (8 & 9) will be posted on a somewhat more regular schedule, though admittedly not all of eight is finished yet, but I believe all of the plotty bits for eight are finished. However, after nine things might slow down again, cause I still don't have much of anything written outside of notes for ten yet, so there will probably be at least a few more delays at some point before the overal series is finally finished.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eleven" from leelaa
Thanks a ton for the prompt and detailed response. And yes, it helps a lot. Here's wishing you the very best with your muses.
Comments from author:
Glad it helped, though I looked over my response, and realized that I had gotten one small detail wrong (sorry). The last part is actually numbered as twelve not eleven.

I think I keep forgetting about little ol' part eleven because it's (or will be) basically a one shot interlude type deal to set up an aspect of the last part involving a character who's not Buffy, Xander, Spike, or Vander.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eleven" from leelaa
Your takes on the verses are so definitively different. Damn nice writing. Do you have some idea when you'll be getting this arc back to the Anitaverse? That was such a heck of a cliffhanger that it's been distracting from the story after that. Please, at this point, I'd really, really like to know. Any idea at all?
Comments from author:
I'm glad you are liking the series, and I am really sorry about the wait. If I had been able to stick to my original writing schedule (which knowing me, not possible - around me schedules are made to be broken, apparently) the entire series would've been finished by the end of last year.

So, I can't actually give you a date for when I'll start posting the part with the AnitaVerse (I'm actually hoping by the end of the year, but see above re: me and schedules), but I can give you the current working title for Part Eleven (which is the last part in the series and the part where they'll finally get back to Anita's world) "Consequences XI - Convergence Part II." Further if it helps, in the story itself the Buffy gang will get back before a month passes in the AnitaVerse (since I'm making time different in the different verses, while the Buffy gang from their point of view will have been gone for years, for the Anita gang only something like 18 to 25 days will pass.).

Thank you for your kind comments, and I hope what I've told you about the last part will help with the wait.

Review of chapter "Chapter Ten" from draconis
Have tremendously enjoyed reading the series thru C7ch10.

Your takes on the various realities are quite fresh, and the dark edges you evolved into the Buffy and Xander characters while retaining some of the self-doubts put fascinating spins on the characters.

I particularly like the way you have taken small, often understated facts from the various canons (pl?) and woven them into something quite unexpected in your times even directly contradicting canon (or the various prevailing fanfic interpretations) yet making your interpretation seem the more plausible and/or more exploitable.

BTW, Coraline is to me the most memorable and intriguing "guest" character from Moonlight, and I'm very interested where you'll be taking that one.
Comments from author:
*blushes* I'm glad you're enjoying everything, even my sometimes weird/twisted spin on things.

And I freely admit I have a real liking for dark!Buffy and dark!Xander but sometimes it is hard to twist them dark while still making the characters feel like Buffy and Xander. Of course, this story isn't really about the main Buffy and Xander going evil (at least not right now *evil grin*) I just wanted to knock them off the moral high road a little bit, cause there's some things I want to have them doing that I just couldn't see a full-on canon Buffy and Xander doing.

As for Coraline, I admit she's not my favorite "Moonlight" character, that honor goes to Josef, but Coraline is up really really close to him on the list. It just happened that it made more sense for Coraline to come on this journey then it did Josef.
In Part Eight the main reason Dracula chose to punish her the way he has will finally be revealed. But that's Part Eight and this is Part Seven. *grin*

Review of chapter "Chapter Ten" from lothlorien
fantastic chapter (even if we had to wait forever to get it :P) please continue soon
Comments from author:
*grins* Then... *blushes* I'm glad you liked the chapter - I was kind of afraid after the insanely long wait it might be a let down, because it wasn't made with spun gold or something... Anyway, good news is that the next chapter is close to finished - once I (finally) found those notes last night and got going I really got going, but as usual I'm leery of promising a date/time for posting.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from leelaa
This story, and the entire series...TERRIFIC. Please update soon.
Comments from author:
*smiles* I'm glad you are loving the series. As for updating, I admit that I'm a bit stuck on the next chapter. I may have to toss what I have for the next chapter and start over, though I'm not quite ready to do that yet. Sadly, either way it will probably be a while before I get the next chapter ready for posting, cause even if I don't toss it, I'll probably have to rework it a bit. However, I'm not even close to quitting or giving up, because I do have much of Part Eight almost ready to go, and much of Part Nine simply needs to be typed, so I just have to worry about getting over the Part Seven blues.

Ive never read anything with HP until now, Im not saying I will again (other than this story!), but youve made it very enjoyable! Cant wait til your next update!
Comments from author:
*grins* I'm glad you decided to read this despite not reading HP fanfic, and I'm very glad you're enjoying it.

As for the next update, I'm afraid it's probably going to be a couple weeks if not longer, but hopefully I'll have it ready and posted before a month passes - hopefully.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from Ellia
I love the Anya/Giles stuff, so nice to see them together like that, with their new store, and starting to see each other differently, i always thought they were well suited.

I like the way you wrote Dumbledore sort of coming round, he's willing to admit that he was wrong about Buffy, but still thinks that he's right about everything else, that the future's written in stone, and nothing can be changed.

That for the greater good mentality is very reminiscent of the Watchers, and makes you see him not as evil, but more as unwilling to go against what he thinks is best for everyone, rather than what's best for Harry, and he still thinks they should keep secrets, which is never good.

And him saying that he won't instruct anyone to try and take Harry away isn't the same as saying that he'll stop people from doing that, seems like he's still hedging his bets.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Buffy and the others figure this one out, as the Scoobies just don't know how to give up.

Wonderful as always, and i can't wait to see where you go with this next
Comments from author:
*grins* I love pairing Anya with Giles, but I've found the trouble (with me writing G/A) is that most of the time I can't see/make G/A a lasting kind of thing, because oddly enough I don't think Giles would have the patience with Anya that Xander did. But with this fanfic I think I've brought both of them (Anya and Giles) to a point where I can make them work as a couple.

In Dumbles defense (at least as far as this fanfic is concerned) he thinks it works better if Harry unknowingly walks to what Dumbles believes his destiny to be. At least that's all I could come up with to explain why in the canon Dumbledore never sat Harry down and talked about these things with him, and also because I personally think Book Five made it clear that Dumbledore never really saw Harry as a person but as a means to an end (the end of Voldemort).

The next chapter should provide all (or at least most) the necessary clues (I hope) to see where things are going as far as Dumbledore and Voldemort are concerned.

Review of chapter "Chapter Nine" from Eureka
Good chapter, so sorry that it took a sick day to get it posted though. I see Ayn finally got her kiss, and Guiles liked it. Can't wait for the next chappie and hope all is going well on your end.
Comments from author:
At least I wasn't horribly sick, just my allergies (seriously) acting up, but I do feel much better today. As for the next chapter, the good news is that it is half finished, and there will be lots of stuff happening, the downside is that the chapter is only half finished which means it might take me a little while to get it actually finished.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I wonder which Anya enjoyed more? Kissing Giles or her sales receipts? It looks like both were a great success! >Grin< Buffy had better watch out Dumbledore can be tricky, tricky, tricky.
Comments from author:
I'd say Anya probably enjoyed both just about equally. As for Dumbledore this chapter was pretty much his last blast, though because Voldemort is still out there, Dumbledore won't completely fade out of the picture until a little later.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from Eureka
Hope your RL delays stop long enough for you to do an update. Love the series (spent two days reading the entire thing!) and really am having to sit on my hands and read others while I wait for the update. Too bad really that Remus can't seem to see the forest for the trees and seems to think the worst of them even after having saw the truth for himself. But I am very glad that Black did. Waiting for the next update and I have this story tracked.
Comments from author:
Well, I don't want to make any promises, because my dog is scheduled for minor surgery later next week, but if things go well in the early week I might be able to finish off the chapter and get it posted if not early in the week maybe by next weekend.

As for Remus I just have a hard time seeing him turn his back on Dumbledore - I see him as a lot like Hagrid that way. Where Dumbledore let Hagrid continue to hang around Hogwarts after he got expelled, Remus wouldn't have been able to get an education without Dumbledore. Though I know that Remus put everyone in danger in Book Three because despite everything he didn't want to "betray" Sirius, so it could probably work both ways. Still if things go according to plan it won't be all bad for Remus.

Finally, and it might not happen until later next month, but I am hoping that I will (soon) be able to get back into this and get a little ahead of myself with the rough draft. When I manage to ahead on the rough draft updates usually don't take as long even if I have a few real life delays. However, early next month a human family member is scheduled to visit a doctor, so being able to work ahead does depend somewhat on how that goes.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from lordamnesia
Just read through the entire story set, and bravo. Very interesting plotline, especially with the built in angst that the main trio go through, which is in line with the show. Keep up the fantastic work!
Comments from author:
*smiles* Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Good news is that I'm almost (almost) finished with the next chapter, and I'm hoping the real life delays will stop delaying (or at least slow down) and I can get back into working on my fanfic (and updating) somewhat more regularly.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from Jorrie
Yay! An update! As always your work is superb and I absolutely love getting the little surprise update email. Though I was thinking something along the lines of "NOOOOOOO!!!!" when Remus didn't want to believe in what Sirius was saying. Sigh, oh well, too bad, can't have them all, you know? Anywhoooo, I never really did believe in an evil!Dumbledore. It's just not realistic (though it makes for a good bit of fun in crack!fics) and I think you did a good job of portraying him, making him borderline, which is what I found quite fitting for his character. He is rather manipulative, even though he means well and it's all for "the greater good" (WOW! Does that remind me of "Hot Fuzz" or what!). He just seems like one of those types who believe that what they're doing is right without realizing that intent kind of gets lost along the way. A good reflection (in theory) of how Willow lost her way when she got addicted to magic. Once again, good job! Love always! Hope you update soon and will definitely be on the look out like usual. Can't wait! ^_~
Comments from author:
*smiles* *blushes* *grins* I loved reading this review.

Weirdly enough I do believe in Evil!Dumbledore, or at least one that's lost his way so badly that he might as well be evil, but that was never what I was going for with this fanfic. I was playing with an idea that I've had several times before - Buffy and the (some/all of the) gang drop in to a reality and immediately get the wrong impression of the bad/good guys, because even good guys sometimes act less than, and Dumbledore is one of the easiest characters to do this with since so many of his actions are questionable in the end.

As for the next update, I am working on the next chapter, but as always I'm leery of stating when I might get it ready and posted.

Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from kayron
Obviously the Scoobies have morality that Dumbledore lacks. Dumbledore would probably be a master chess player. He is able to maintain absolute control over his pawns. The truth is right in front of Remus' face, and he still can't see it.
Comments from author:
I admit that I'm kinda trying to write Dumbledore a bit more like Angel then a completely outright evil guy. Though I do love me an evil!Dumbledore.

Okay, looking at that I realize I need to explain what I mean better, so here goes - Angel was shown more than few times as the type of guy (vampire) who'd come up with a plan and then cling to it even after realizing it might not be the best plan ever. And that's how I'm trying to play Dumbledore in this fanfic - the first time Voldemort fell Dumbledore had enough information to come up with what he felt was a valid plan, and over the years he'd come to believe that his way was the only way.
(Dumbledore, even more than Angel, is a big picture guy, and because of that I do think even in the canon that there were times when he lost sight of the fact that those around him were actual people who could be greatly affected for good or evil by his actions.)

As for Remus, I thought about making it a big happy family kind of thing, but after I started really plotting things out I realized it didn't really make sense to have Remus just up and turn his back on Dumbledore. It made sense with Sirius because of the whole Azkaban thing, but if it hadn't been for that I would've probably had problems writing Sirius accepting that Dumbledore was less than stellar.
