Lol, funny fic, and a creative crossover. I really think Angel should have had different sorts of annoying/weird assistants very week. In particularly, I missed the bureaucratic type like Humprey Appleby (Yes Minister) But this blond type type is a favorite too.
And about saving blond Bimbo's, it was already the second one. (first one Harmony of course). But yes, I could really hear Cordelia saying something like that. (especially about Buffy ;-) )
I also liked your Xander-Vi series.
Comments from author:
I agree that the administrative assistant pool was an under-utilized aspect of the show, although Harmony did have a few choice bits (hey, I made a punny), particularly in 'Harm's Way.' Someone could write a series about all the people that Angel goes through before Harmony got the job. I leave that up for someone else, though. I'm still trying to finish off the first arc of my 5th Element crossover.
And Xander/Vi shall not be undersold (except by Liz Marcs, who pens Vi as a really nasty off-screen villain in "Behold Little Padawan"...still, definitely worth the read).
Cordy and 'saving the world one bimbo at a time' That line was as exquisite as bacardi with lime!
Not to mention the 'oh I read People all the time!' Witticisms like this are surely what made this fic shine!
And the end with Harmony was hilarious [as the idea of the two blondes togethor was ridiculous]
All and all I'd like to commend you on a great, humorous fic And now this review shall end as I 'click'!

Thanks so much for the thoughtful (and carefully coupleted) review. This was WAY better than one of those credit cards that pays you back; quality reviews get me fired up to work on more (and longer) fics.

Nice fun story - I'd have liked it to be longer. I think there's an error, however:
(quote)it’s disturbing the wa of my whole department.(end quote)
Unless 'wa' is an obscure Feng Shui term you've missed at least part of a word out there.
Addition: Ah, so my guess was almost right although in the wrong language. I did search for the term, as I couldn't think of anything that 'wa' could have been a typo for, but couldn't find anything. I know quite a lot of Japanese terms but only in connection with martial arts; it never occurred to me to try searching in Japanese.
Comments from author:
No error--went back and italicized the term. I didn't reflect upon the fact that people might consider it an obscure reference =( I apologize for the brevity of the piece. I sat on this story for over a month, aware that people would want more details fleshed out, but apparently my muse is partying in Cancun.
God help me I think I want more.... What was the song she sang? And VERY loosely translated, "Wa" is a Japanese word that refers to the peace & harmony (no pun intended) within a group.
