Review of chapter "Chapter 5" from espinosaca
Please update this. I really want to see Dick's reaction to Wanda as well as how the JL would react to her since her power is beyond anything they've seen I think. Not in the sense that its powerful but in the sense that she can basically will anything into happening.

Review of chapter "Chapter 5" from Gideon
Great story! I hope you get a chance to continue it some time.
I don't know about you but I read fanfic to see my favourite characters acting *better* than they may have done in cannon so I am glad you have had the scooby gang forgive and forget. Blame fics are so tedious :)

Wow, I didn't think that you could take BTVS too seriously but the previous 3 reviews have proved me wrong!
I do agree about most CEOs being psychopaths though :)

Review of chapter "Dead or Alive" from Prometeus
> Wanda smiled at her and nodded. She had decided that maybe she had been a little quick in getting mad at the two girls in front of him. It really wasn’t Buffy’s fault that she was now a girl, there was no way she could have known this would happen and Willow was just defending a friend. She decided to let it go

Yup, letting them off the hook. How lame. Especially when you're conveniently erasing Bitchy's naked avarice.

Especially when it *IS* Buffy's fault that Xander's a girl. It doesn't matter whether or not it was premedited, the only thing that matters is that Buffy did something wrong / illegal that directly resulted in it. Much like if you hit someone and they have a preexisting medical condition that causes them to die as a result, then that's still manslaughter. FOR WHICH YOU WILL GO TO JAIL FOR.

Furthermore, there's a world of difference between Xander being so fucked up from his abusive parents that he doesn't comprehend the abuse his so-called friends are dishing out on him. And him comprehending it but letting it go. What next, is he gonna forgive his parents too??

Review of chapter "Seeing Double" from Prometeus
> “You’re going to leave our fates up to the flip of a coin?” The other Willow demanded.

> “Well it seems like the only way to make it fair.” Buffy said.

> “Fine.”

> “Ok the Willow on the right will be heads and the Willow on the left will be tails.” Buffy said before flipping the coin. It landed on tails. The Willow on the left scowled while the Willow on the right smiled.

Lame since Wanda's power is to affect probability so the outcome is under her power. Lamer since Wanda never takes advantage of the opportunity to enact revenge against the traitor-Willow. Lamest because it's not even clear which Willow (the traitor or the original) became Lorna. For all we know, he's comforting the traitor-Willow by making her his sister, ugh. Instead of having a chapter full of genuine gritty interpersonal conflict, complete with GoodWillow whose life he saved from vivisection versus EvilWillow, we're treated to this artificial superficial twin-speak crap.

What rescues this chapter from an even lower rating is the minor but awesome plot thread with Dick.

Review of chapter "Mysteries" from Prometeus
> i know that this chapter had what could be considered Buffy bashing but in my opinion Buffy was kind of self centered at this point of the show.

Buffy has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The only thing that matters to her is her own self-aggrandizement. Other people don't exist except as extensions of herself. This is proved by her interactions with Angel (who really didn't exist in her mind except as a role in her fantasy romance), Dawn (who isn't allowed to be anything at all except what Buffy wishes she herself could have been), and Spike (who isn't allowed to be a person even after she starts fucking him - something that requires a truly diseased mind to accomplish). This is why the Buffy/ Angel relationship was a match made in heaven, because Angel too is a narcissist! Well actually Angel is a psychopath but psychopathy is just a more extreme form of narcissism so if you squint your eyes a little it looks like the same thing.

Famous narcissists include Steve Jobs of Apple Inc. Which ought to tell you that as warped and extreme as narcissists necessarily are, they can still contribute positively to society. (Assuming they're geniuses because idiots like George Bush, who is a narcissist and was elected on that basis, aren't going to contribute no matter what.) In fact, that's what distinguishes narcissism from psychopathy because psychopaths can't. Unlike narcissists, psychopaths can't see other people existing at all, not even as extensions of themselves. Other people are simply tools and resources to be exploited, not things (let alone beings) that matter *in their own right*. (Steve Jobs cares for Apple Inc because he sees it as an extension of his body and his mind. In his mind, Apple IS Steve Jobs, so if Apple lives forever then HE lives forever. A psychopath like the CEOs of WorldCom and Enron, and most American CEOs, can't do that and would have looted the company for all they could.)

Angel's biggest "contributions" are getting his followers Wesley and Gunn killed, turning his son over to Wolfram & Hart, destroying the two companies he was CEO of, and starting an apocalypse. Angel's character is really easy to understand once you accept that he's morose because his favourite hobby, torturing people, makes him feel guilty so he can only do it now by mind-fucking people like he did Buffy (that ridiculous "be normal" spiel). He never follows orders, accepts wiser counsel against his own desires or sticks to rules because his psychopathy makes him unable to see that such things exist for a reason and his narcissism makes him want to be in charge no matter what. He will lie, cheat, steal, murder and torture to be The Man. He leaves a trail of utter destruction on his way to the top until he's inevitably stopped and/or causes the whole structure to collapse in on itself.

It's also fun to think of Buffy as an exhibitionist, but the fact she's toned down in Seasons 6 and 7 means she never really was. However, she DID retain her narcissism throughout the show and further into the comic series where she does everything possible (including sacrifice her underlings by the score and sell missiles to terrorists) to set herself up as Queen of Slayers. In her mind, her underlings' deaths don't matter nearly as much as her being in power. Kinda like Steve Jobs doesn't care that his employees burn out and hate him so long as they make that Next Great Apple Product.

It continues to grieve me how ignorant of basic psychology people are. And how stupid too since you all seem to think Buffy stopped being self-centered at some point. WHEN? Just *when* did she ever stop being self-centered? Was it when she beat her lover and left him to die in an alley because she'd gotten it into her head that she wanted to go to prison as a way to escape her shitty life and he tried to stop her? But worse than that is people who stupidly think that Buffy somehow, magically, grew up at some point. That she became an emotionally mature, psychologically healthy young woman. What the fuck?! WHere is this idiocy coming from? I mean sure, you can write Buffy as an emotionally mature, psychologically healthy young woman. Especially if you get to her young or use a traumatic experience like her being resurrected as a turnaround point like Barb Cummings famously did. But *canon* Buffy is a mentally (intellectually, psychologically, AND emotionally) stunted pseudo-child and will remain that way to the day she dies.

So if you were planning to write canon-Buffy and still make her STOP being self-centered at some point, then that's pretty much letting Buffy off the hook, don't you think?
