Review of chapter "Something True" from DavidFraser
Review:
Okay, have to say first that I've never watched One Tree Hill, so the characters being 'alive' is kind of nice in the reading department.
The action / fight-y scenes were vivid and easily visualized and fit the overall flow of the story well.
All-in-all a really good read.
Comments from author:
Thank you so much. Also, thank you very much for your recommendation.
Very glad that you felt the characters were 'alive' even though you haven't seen the show. I try start with that idea that I give enough color to my characters that they are real, regardless. Otherwise I'm not *really* writing, I'm just using placeholders people recognize. The balance of course is to make them real and keep them in character.
I'm so happy you like the fight scenes. I really enjoyed writing those a great deal. It was good that they weren't a vision of anything I'd seen in any of the shows. They were very freeing to write.
Thank you.

Just re-reading this wonderful crossover. I enjoy it even more each time I re-read it. :)

With my current state of mind (harassed, exhausted by school and RL which is being particularly brutal right now), I cannot begin to tell you how much this means. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! It was just what I needed! :-)
Hugs,

PS: you should know that there's an epilogue story coming at some point... don't you want to know what happened with Connor, Lorne and the super children and what naughty, happy things happened at the reception? heheh....

great story, I very much enjoyed. lovely ending ceremony with everyone there to see Buffy and Dan and show their support and love for her. thank you for sharing!
Comments from author:
I'm very glad that you enjoyed my story and my ceremony... I just had to have my climactic, magical, funny ending. I think it's definitely one of my best written weddings! [Grin]
i was right about the child being called faith lol...i love he interaction between buffy and faith before she's getting married.
Comments from author:
Very glad you liked the name of Buffy's immortal! I'm very happy that you liked the interaction between Faith and Buffy before the wedding... Did you notice... Spike?
i dont think there could have been a more eventful and dramatic labor lol...buffy needs a month nap after that. wonder what they'll name the baby? I predict her middle name is Faith lol
Comments from author:
Faith huh? heheh... Imagine that! So you think her labor and war was dramatic? Wait 'til you see who shows up next! No rest for the Buffy, I'm afraid!
very good chapter. the reminiscing of Buffy adn Faith, Illyria's sacrifice, the mourners and melancholy, even Faith adopting Fred's parents as "hers." NIcely done
Comments from author:
So glad you approve. Faith adopting Fred's very normal, yet completely accepting parents just seemed right. They were the type who would have joined the fight if they'd been asked. I loved them.
So Buffy isn't the strongest...itneresting. she could be after giving birth though. That is intriguing about the women athletes you mentioned. Wouldn't they also know about Nikki Wood since she gave birth to Robin?
Comments from author:
Not right at the moment, no... but yes, Buffy's gonna be seriously strong after giving birth, which is probably a good thing! Yes, I thought about Nikki. She did live long enough for her son to be four when she died. Given that she had no support of any kind, and that Buffy actually died three times, even being the strongest (even before the newbies, she was anomalous)... I think that being strong isn't a barrier to dying, just makes you harder to kill. And since the council weren't good at sharing, and didn't have many slayers giving birth, I don't think that information made it further than her watcher. Would you tell the council something like that, if you were a caring watcher? (remember this man cared enough to raise his slayer's child). The council would have immediately forced all the slayers to start breeding as early as possible! Breeding, the new cruciamentum!
Review of chapter "In Heaven there is no... Never mind..." from Jinxy
Review:
I love this chapter. Dan, Faith and Cordy, what better banter could there be? Faith being Buffy's guardian is very fitting and her needling about Spike checking in is a nice touch as well. No sex in heaven must make it hell, lol. Glad she did make it to peace and heaven though
Comments from author:
I'm so glad! Faith and Dan and Cordy are so much fun. Of course Faith is Buffy's guardian. You know my girl would be first in line for a job like that! Can you imagine Faith doing without sex? It's completely unfair, but fortunately, being on a higher plane must have other perks. Peace and all that jazz! Smirk.
