I am enjoying. I hope that she tells him about being a slayer before they get married.

I liked that Faith wanted to make sure she didn't go to fast for the cagey Jack.
Comments from author:
I think it was more a factor of her being too petrified of messing it all up than for Jack's sake. ;) But it all comes out to the same thing in the end.
Thanks for reading! Eleri

Review of chapter "Sequel alert!" from RevDorothyL
Review:
What a great idea -- to post a note at the end of a story that readers were tracking in order to notify anyone who hasn't triggered the 'track all of this author's stories' option that there is a sequel. That's very, very helpful.
Comments from author:
I wish I could take credit for the idea, but alas, I cannot. A fellow author did it for a Stargate/Supernatural cross I was following. Like you, I thought it was fantastic and snagged it for my little story. Pass it on! I hate it when I miss fic because I don't catch the new story.
Hope to see you at the new story. Happy reading! Eleri

Just re-read this one, and I have to put in a begging request. Please, please, please add more to this series! It is just so very good!!
Edit: I should add that this latest reading put the tally for the entire series at five times through, and it is just as great the fifth as it was the first (without the annoyance of having to wait for updates!)
Comments from author:
Hey! It's good to hear from you and I'm glad the second read was just as good the second time around for you. And have no fear. The fourth story is in process. It's just taking quite a bit of time to get completed.
Thanks for the begging, though. It sure is nice to know people still want to hear more of this story. (vbg)

Niiicce... :D Again, a story well written. To be honest, I kept expecting Faith to do something that would really grab Jack's attention to where Faith's abilities were concerned but your subtle touches on the matter were totally appropriate for the the parties involved. Just enough glimpses to notice but with sufficient distraction for it to be dismissed. I was also expecting Faith to slip out during the fund raiser and stake someone then come back in with a sneeze and a comment "Someone needs to really consider dusting the bathroom." or "Excuse me. Allergies." lol
So....will the next installment be called "Somewhere in the middle" :D and will it include a sparring match between Teal'c and Faith followed by an "Oops. I can explain my freakishly strong girl power." after tossing Teal'c across a room? Just wondering. :P heh heh
EDIT: PS: I admit it. I looked up the trees. I love it when author's add trivia I didn't know about. Peace out :)

I was right in what I said in my last review; this series DEFINITELY looks like it’s going to be interesting.
The relationship dynamics developing between Faith and Jack continue to impress, with Faith’s traditional ‘in-your-face’ attitude being effectively balanced by her genuinely deep feelings for Jack, while Jack’s natural humour is pushed somewhat aside as he uncertainly makes his way in a relationship where he has no idea just HOW close the other person is going to become…
It may be developing gradually, but so far it’s definitely believable; the closest thing I have to a complaint is that I would have thought some of the other members of SG-1 would have at least wondered among themselves about the age gap between Jack and Faith, and that’s so minor it’s barely a factor.
Plus, of course, characterisation is superb; even the minor details, such as Faith’s comment about how collaborating with the enemy isn’t worth the benefits, perfectly reflects everything that made these characters so great.
Hope the next story doesn’t take as long to finish; I would REALLY like to see where this series is going sooner rather than later...

I'm really enjoying this series. I especially like how you used time travel to introduce your first story, but that it isn't integral to the plot of the stories that follow. You've woven all the sections together quite nicely.
And now, because I have seen Dollhouse, I can imagine Eliza Dushku in a fancy dress and actually have a real visual of what Faith would look like dressed fancy and not just dressed pretty. :)
