The Ginny Love Potion bit is a real cop-out.

If you don't want them together, use something a bit more original. Say they realized it wouldn't work, or that it was because of the Horcrux messing with his emotions.

You should really keep updating it is a really good story so far.

I've of course read a bunch of "Harry is such and such" stories before, and its interesting because this is much more a "Giles really was" type story. Another thing I can note is that I use to be a huge Harry Potter fan before I got into Buffy (although now it feels a lot more childishly contrived to me) and I'd either never noticed or forgotten the Diagon Ally and Knockturn Ally puns.

This was a good chapter. The only thing I didn't like was the Hermione bashing by pairing her with Ron but since this is canon compliant, it can't be helped. I will say that I am impressed you managed to cross Harry Potter with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer without shifting the timeline of either fictional universe.

I am not sure about the Dark Mark limiting the life spans of those marked, though. Then again, I don't know if any of the Death Eaters were mentioned being older than 50. The oldest that I can think of that I have an age for is Bellatrix (1951-1998). It is an interesting, idea, though.

I do have one question, though. Exactly how powerful is Harry / Giles and did his use of black magic leave any kind of magical scars?

Considering Giles was trying to keep a secret, it seems odd he keeps telling people his name is Giles when he looks like Harry. *Perhaps I missed something*. Hoping he looked like Giles when he slept with Narcissa, otherwise it just seems . . . sleeping with someone who appears the same age as your son . . . Otherwise, still enjoying the story. THe meeting with Luna was great and I liked how the meeting with Ron and Hermoine went as well. Nice work.

Heh. That's just to make it easier on me. It's hard to go back and forth between 'Giles' and 'Harry' all the time. Besides, he's only telling people outside of the Order, Deaters, and MOM. No one he's told will rat him out.

EDIT: Oops. Missed one point. If you look, you'll see that I mentioned his hormones again. He was in 'Harry' mode for that.
