Review of chapter "Chapter One" from MBB
Review:
An interesting little drama. Though really misplaced under comedy.
And if that bunny-man wants to change carreers, he should consider social worker -he obviously cares about children, and when he does things wrong, he at least understands why they went wrong, unlike the worker that brought Faith to a fake bunny.

Review:
If you care to have Faith diverge away from that horrid canon fate, her dashing off why she did it and mentioning the beating sure to come--thus getting the social workers aware of another one going bad in time to stop it happening--is a good place. Let us Reverse-Joss her, shall we? Best part is.. all one need do is continue this tale!

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Past Donor)Lupo
Review:
It seems the social worker has some issues to work out also. She seemed very short and disinterested in Faith. For someone supposed to work with displaced children, she didn't appear to have any idea what Faith was probably going through and should look for another line of work.

Enjoyed the story though. please keep posting!

See ya..............
Comments from author:
Glad you noticed that, that was deliberate...I figured a social worker such as that would not really notice or check up much on her home situation once she was placed back in her mother's care. And yeah...now that i've had about seven people tell me Faith should have been eight rather than six...thinking of changing her age. Lol

While I can see Faith doing exactly what you’ve depicted I have a hard time believing this is a six year-old’s thought process. Maybe if she was eight it would make it more feasible, but six is pushing it. Especially since her home life wouldn’t have been geared toward developing critical thinking.

That is just so sad, it makes me want to write something about Faith that makes it all better.

Good story, great characterisation of little Faith, well done.

While you were trying for funny you actually got disturbing, good and I just know if I really tried to look deeper I will find some rather profound things I am going to settle for good but disturbing.

I can totally see a younger Faith doing something like that when she was younger. You could tell in Season 3 when her character was introduced that she was already jaded by her previous life. Which, I agree with you, is unfortunate. Too often the kids slip through the cracks no matter the size. So this is an angsty, yet humorous, look at what a younger Faith might act like. Well done.

Oh, man...it's not even Easter yet, and I feel for the poor guys in the funny suits. Nice canon-ish look at Faith, without the "de-aged and put in a cute scenario" that far too many authors buy into. Well constructed and believable OC (and I sincerely hope it's not a real person that you know, 'cause that's gonna leave a mark).

Review:
Not really humorous, I think, but a very good character piece of a young and already damaged Faith. Good work. Thanks for sharing. It was a pleasure to read.
