You are a pretty good writer, and i thank you for taking the time to write fan fiction.

Unfortunately, i got part way through this chapter and knew it was not a story i could stomach...

"A lot has happened down on Earth in the meantime. Much of it has revolved around your former lover, Angel. Ah, I see he still gives you that dreamy smile."

That killed it for me... and is the reason for my bad rating... it nothing personal, but i HATE angel, with a passion... I found him to be a useless, cowardly, annoying...well i could go on. He got a tiny bit better in his series(Charisma Carpenter was the only reason to watch imho) but... well

so its nothing personal... i just thought you deserved to know WHY i gave this a bad rating.....

Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice. Plot twists and complications worthy of the Hatter. I sometimes think "Giles" needs a pocket watch and rabbit ears. He is bound to feel that he is way behind in knowing what's going on. Hmmm. I may have to get a watch and ears myself. Still, the Cheshire Cat and I are having a fine time reading this. (yes, I am mad sou' by sou'west myself.)

I suspect this little notion is going to haunt Angel to distraction.

WOW!!!! I would say more, but this chapter has me sort of speechless!

Whoa! And did I mention whoa! 90-degree hairpin turn in the plot! Looks like a bumpy ride ahead - looking forward to more!

Oh boy, that was a doozie of a chapter. Surprised to see Cordelia downstairs on her own but not nearly as surprised as Diana was by that vision. Wow.

Now this chapter scares the heck out of me for our friends. If the "good guys" and the "bad guys" are "friends" just playing a game, where does that leave us?

Oh dear, another Apocalypse is upon us. Hope that Buffy/Diane won't break a nail or die once again.

Went back to the beginning and started over (I had forgotten much). This is such a marvelously complex story that it became imperative that I get what has gone before straight before going on. I hope you don't abandon this little project. It has too much potential to forget. Thanks for some great entertainment!

No fear. Like I said, the story is finished, I just need to finish posting it.

oh I noticed a typo where you said "A year after that Angel, or rather his evil alter ego, tried to awaken a demon called Akathler," the name of the demon is spelt Acathla, so I hope that helps.

Thanks, but the misspelling of Acathla/Akathler is intentional. I used to watch BtVS in German and got the spelling wrong for my very first fanfics. When I finally realized that I spelled it wrong (about a dozen fanfics later or so) and corrected it, I was told by several readers that they kind of got used to my spelling, as it sort of "flagged" my stories for them. So I keep up the misspelling.

Love the sparring session. Looking forward to Diane doing something Buffyish.

Fighters have styles. I surprised that Buffy's style didn't shine through.

Something I'm thinking about. In the first chapter The Powers said the Dawn was helping Angel, when it seems that nothing could be further from the truth. Then there's that prediction that Buffy will be fighting against Angel in the apocalypse to come. So I'm wondering. Did the bad guys bring her back?
