More training is always good. Anything to try to stick to rule #1.

Nice. I actually enjoyed this alt setup for the AI crew as a happier one - and a believable one, too.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from cjcold
Nice story.

Took me a little while to figure out the cross as I didn't know that King was behind that idea. Remember the TV series Dead Zone though only saw the first season.

Very interesting possiblities for this universe. Though I would think his powers would be really valuable against Wolfram & Hart.

Wonder what Buffy thought about her movie?

Any chance of Xander helping out the police, Maybe Lockley, always thought her character had potential taht was never explored.

More soon please.

Thanks. Working as best I can. Not 'as fast,' because that brings bad results.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from BrotherBludgeon
An auspicious beginning, I have to say. With what you’ve done here, you can take the altered bits and pieces from any episode of the first season of Angel and toss it in as a flashback without the headaches of rewriting all the episodes. Season two, of course, was where things really started to get interesting.

Darla, of course, would never have had to go through with that whole “I’m sorry, but you’re living your second chance” business if Angel had a psychic on hand to check for that kind of B.S. There has to be some magical cure for syphilis, right? It worked for Xander on that one Thanksgiving episode. But then again, that was magical Chumash syphilis.

And what happens when Drusilla comes to visit her “Grandmother” and finds that Xander can do more than hear the stars whisper, he can touch them. Dead Zone psychics react to others with similar abilities. What do you think would happen if our boy ever got his hands on Miss Edith?

Doyle seems to be having a better run this time around. Apparently half-Brachen demons are actually tops when it comes to the magic thing, who knew? What I’m most curious about, though, is how the occasionally spiky Irishman managed to get Xander to forgive him. He obviously didn’t die heroically saving hundreds from the Scourge, so how the hell did he get away with passing his “blind headaches with pictures” over to Cordy? And, if the transaction happened by similar means, what possible explanation could he, as a married man, have given to both his wife and Cordelia’s presumably jealous boyfriend as to why he kissed her hard enough to transfer clairvoyant magical powers? And is the only reason why she didn’t give them back to Doyle because their significant others decided that the current arrangement was a better alternative to them swapping spit again?

Oh and, by the way, where’s Jesse McNally? You know, Xander’s best friend who he dusted after he’d been turned by Darla? I mean, do you think for one second that he wouldn’t have picked up on the fact that dead vampires can be resurrected as live humans?

I won’t even go into the Lorne and Fred stuff, because I know those are coming and you know we’re all waiting anxiously for them. Thanks for moving forward with this. It’s a great idea that’s only just started to become a great story.

Blessed be,
-Brother Bludgeon

We're not quite that far yet. W&H are, obviously, still planning on bringing Darla back (Mostly because she's my favorite vampire of all time), but that episode is a week or two past where I am. I'm not sure if I'm going to save her from the syphilis, though. She's a lot more fun as a vampire. Not to mention we can't get Connor around without her.

Drusilla. Ah, Drusilla. She's almost as fun as her grand-sire. Not going to say much here, but that should turn out to be... Interesting.

Unfortunately, Jesse won't be making a return appearance. Xander knows better than to use Dark Magic. And if W&H did it, it's probably Dark.

For most of the reasons you pointed out, I really don't think the visions were passed on as a kiss. I mean, that can't be the ONLY way.

... Can it?
