Well, that's an interesting idea.

An Asguard (Loki) clone of Tara was the one killed, forcing the mad scientist to keep her at his research facility. Nice twist. There are a couple of gaps, for example I get the feeling that Tara was kept in stasis for long periods of time and I do wonder why Loki didn't tell anyone about the unfortunate set of circumstances. If nothing else the Asguard would have tried to find somewhere for Tara to live, on a protected world or even with them for a time.

Those aside I like this little story. The open ending is a benefit, letting me question what happens next. While the Romantic in me wants Tara and Willow back together the writer and pragmatist thinks a far better story would be if Will has settled down with someone else (hopefully not Kennedy, but who knows) and Tara decides to move on.

A good, short and simple story.

Yes, this really is good. I would love to see the reunion. I know willow's waiting somewhere... maybe london, maybe cleveland... Anyway, it is beautifully written. Couldn't go to sleep until I finished it.

Review:
God, this is good.

It could very easily be made into a longer fic, but it's good the way it is.

So many questions... up until another chapter comes out, I'm just going to imagine Willow has no significant other at this time and a happy reunion.

Aww, this was great. I suppose the seven years passing means she's too late to help with any events of the series; will she and Willow get to see each other again, though? Could Willow believe it?

This is so beautiful and I really hope you'll continue. I absolutely love a well written Tara fic and this is the best I've ever seen her captured. I actually wanted to cry at the thought of her finally getting to come home.

I like what you've done with this concept. You've got a good grasp of Tara, and it's a fully rounded out character, with effects from the trauma and hopes for going home etc. I like that you've used such a huge time gap as well, because your writing is good, that just adds a lot of impact and makes the story better.
looking forward to more.
