That one left me speechless --- as in the sense of breathless from too much laughing...
My god, did you write for the show? The movie? the cartoon when it was still being published?
Is that the same 'sarah' who was a total snob in the movie? I think her name was sarah? Now I need an Addams family fix... lemmie see... movies or tv? hmmm... so many deliciously evil choices...
Very Dark Blue... heh heh heh heh (eeevil laughter)
Comments from author:
No, not the same Sarah. Just a random, decent woman finding out that vampires are real, and, more terrifyingly, meeting the Addams family.
I was inspired by the movies, but it was also more in the spirit of the tv show, because in the tv show, the family was just so sweet and kind, just demented as all get out.
I am so glad you liked this one too! Thank you!

Has anyone else ever noticed that in one of the Addams Family movies when the Addams kids go to Chippewa, one of the normal kids was named Buffy? Oh, the crossovers that could happen! Loved this fic, hope you can write more in this series soon!
Comments from author:
That actress that played Harmony was also in the movie. It took restraint to avoid including her in the story.
I'm glad you liked it; thanks for the feedback!

::Howling with laughter:: OMG!! This was hysterical! Thank you so much for sharing this. It is exactly how I thought the Addams would react if Wednesday became a Vampire Slayer. Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks, I am so glad that you thought this was right for Addams Family. I really wanted to capture their crazyness and their love for family. And their strange sense of macabre justice.
Thanks for letting me know you liked it.

Thanks! It's hard to walk the line between macabre and joyous that is the heart of the Addams without making them seem psychotic or vicious, which they aren't.
I'm so glad you thought I captured them so well, and thanks for letting me know.

RAOTFLMAO! This was purely wonderful. I thought you captured the Addams Family perfectly. I would love to read more stories set in this universe. *Hint, hint* I especially was caught by: Oh goodness no! Wednesday killed her first vampire when she five, before she was a Slayer. So many possible stories involving Slayer Wednesday. Lol! I would so love to see the lovely Wednesday meeting other Slayers and freaking the poor wee babes out of their gourds. Of course I could also see her setting her sights, many kinds of sights on many kinds of weapons, on poor old Xander. Lol!
Comments from author:
Yeah, I could see Wednesday going for Xander. Another reviewer suggested that perhaps Wednesday was the reason Xander fled to Africa. Which could make sense.
I think Wednesday is an odd one, but she's not crazy loud wierd, like Anya was. I think the Scoobs would be more freaked out at Gomez and Morticia's, ahem, antics, than anything else.
