Review of chapter "Durin's Bane ~ The Balrog's Tale" from spring
Review:
I love this. The songs are just the icing in a much more wonderful story. I am listening to Meatloaf while reading this and though can you do a story with the song Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad? It would be rather interesting. Part of the song is "I want you, I need you, but ain't no way I'm ever going to love you. Now don't be sad, 'cause two out of three ain't bad." What do you think is it doable? More soon please of this wonderful fic.
Comments from author:
Perhaps. You'll have to give me some time. I work best with songs that I am highly familiar with the beat and feel of, which I am not in this case...
I'll think about it...
Glad you like my song parodies... ;)

Review of chapter "Unforgivable ~ Draco's Tale" from christytrekkie
Review:
OMG I truly loved both of your stories, Rogue and Xander together how absolutely brilliant. I've always loved Draco the little mini Spike that he is and I love the way you show how he fights withing himself to do the right thing. love how you brought Lorne in it to be the catalyst for the both of their lives
Comments from author:
Actually, to be honest... I hate Draco... He just proved to be the most convenient character... :p

Oh wow. Personally I think that if Joss read this or Mr. Hallett did(if was able still) they would love it. This is a wonderful story so far, please continue with more such wonderful stories.

I really liked it. I wanted to ask, because I think you might be on to something here. What about contacting a moderator or site staff of some kind and trying to get everyone's challenge responses under one story, namely this one. The title fits. Sound like a good idea?
Comments from author:
I'm honoured by the compliment. However I'd prefer to keep mine seperate, since I intend to have this be a series of related ficlets of mine. Extras would tend to obscure the relation a bit...
However, if you truly like the title that much, you are welcome to use it.

Oh thats so sweet and sad are you going to write rogue and xanders story or leave it to our imaginations. I think you really captured lorne's inner dialogue, absolutely loved it.
Comments from author:
Naw, these are Lorne's tales, not Rogue's. I might mention her and Xander in passing in the future tales, but they probably will not feature...

Yeah, I've seen a couple of fics of Rogue with Xander, though neither was complete. I loved them both...

Nice. I liked it. Though it sucks that another main cast member from Angel has died.

Review:
It's nice and sweet. Don't know if that was what you were aiming for, but that in many ways was Lorne as Andy portrayed him on the show. He was the hope that maybe things are able to go your way. He was optimism. Because everyone visiting him was always looking for the best of outcomes and had hope when coming to him. He wasn't always able to reward that hope with promise, but often enough he did everything he could to not be the harbinger of doom he could have been.
So kudos for the effort as it comes off well. It's not heavy or deep and meaningful. Just hopeful, much like Andy was as Lorne.
Comments from author:
Thanks... That's just the sort of reaction I hoped for...
