This was excellent. I really liked Bones until they made sweet Zach into a killer. I stopped watching after that. This was a great way of reconciling his original character with what he became - and then save him. I thought you did a fine job with characterization. Clearly this is Jack before the debacle of Children of Earth - but really nice story. Thanks!
Utterly brilliant! I lost track of Bones a long time ago, even although I enjoyed it when I watched it, but this had enough information to allow me to follow the story, and the characterisation was brilliant. You managed to blend the two universes excellently, and portrayed Jack wonderfully well; too many people fall for the surface flirtiness and humour, and miss the carefully-hidden thoughtfulness and dedication. I especially liked the get-out-of-jail-almost-free card you gave Zack; he'll fit right in with the rest of the damaged but still fighting survivors at Torchwood Three.
Speaking of which, you WILL be writing more in this particular universe, right? Right? (Insert puppy eyes and pouting here) ;)

I'd managed to miss the entire Zack story arc on TV so the bits of it I've been picking up have pretty much gone over my head. This story is fascinating though: I like the way you've linked the faeries story into Angela and the mostly-happy ending.
A memorable piece of work - thank you!

WoW! Awesome! I'm glad you did post this, cuz it is great! The characters were very well done, the story was interesting, and it tied up so nicely. I liked the part about Angela and Jack when she was a kid, and the fairy thing cool and spooky - especially at the end with Parker!

I like your version so much better than what happened on 'Bones' in canon -- and Jack Harkness' explanation really makes more sense than anything else we've been offered to explain Zack's sudden, unaccountable, irrational change.
Plus, wonderful work weaving in the fairies plot from "Torchwood" in a much less threatening sense, as Angela/Lily's childhood 'friends' not only warn her of the danger from possessed Booth, but also return something of her past to her, along with an apparently unharmed Parker.
Lovely work!
And Zach should definitely work at Torchwood, if he can't be at the Jeffersonian anymore.

That was totally gorgeous. Great job tying in the two shows, the voices were perfect. Angela always has an other-worldly air about her and having been wooed by fairies as a child makes so much sense. The reading experience was enhanced somewhat, for me, by listening to John Barrowman singing some of his more emotional songs. Several parts of your story moved me to tears all on their own. Thank you so much for sharing

I am so impressed with this story. You have both Jack and Angela perfectly in character. Your whole story seemed very dreamlike or should I say nightmarish. All I can say further is "Wow!"
