What a nice tribue to both Xander AND the character of Lorne (as well as the actor who gave him life).
I love the tune "Ar hyd y Nos", and those words especially, but I really got a kick out of the "Yeoman of the Guard" title for this piece: what could be more appropriate for both Xander the Merryman of the group AND Lorne than the somewhat melancholy duet of the jester Jack Point with the lady love who failed to appreciate him when she had the chance?

Beautifully done! This is probably the first story I ever read that have a grateful Kennedy, normally they all picture her as a heartless bit*h, nice change..
Good work!!

What wonderful little story. Perfect job with everyones' characters. I've always loved the song you chose and Xander's first daughter's nickname was perfect. Now, let the betting begin on who the mother will be. I'm actually putting my money on several of the women. I'm not too sure about Buffy, but the rest just might go for the best man in their very strange lives. And I do not mean Andrew. Lol!
The Caritas customers aren't the only ones wiping their tears. That's one of my favorite songs...and only one other fic I've *ever* read had it (Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent by Barb, on Schnoogle). Made me bawl then, too. Beautifully done.
