While I feel the same glee at seeing a Mary Sue get taken down as the next fanfic reader, I do feel I ought to point out something I've always disliked about the BtVS setting: Balance doesn't win wars. When the consequences of losing the war is every man, woman and child on the planet gets eaten (if they're lucky), balance seems like a really bad deal for humanity. Yeah, I get that without the artificially-imposed rules the PTB make everyone play by collateral damage would be far higher, the fact remains that playing for a stalemate tends to save fewer lives in the long run than a costly victory does. In that light, the BtVS world could use all the Mary Sues it can get!

Thanks for reading and reviewing. However, I'm not really sure where this discussion on balance came from. Balance isn't a factor in this story, not really. This story is a parody on poor characterization in fanfiction and original fiction.

Mary Sues, whether in the real world or the fictional world, are annoying. And useless. Because they're not real. In the real world, we always find out that these 'Sues' actually have a tremendous weakness that no one notices because they seem so very perfect.
In the fictional world, readers are killed by Sues. With or without balance being a factor, Sues destroy conflict and tension, two must-haves for good fiction.
Thanks again for stopping in.

Tee-heee That was pretty much hilarious... It recalls to me this thought I always seem to have when talking about Mary Sues...Isn't Bella basically like a Mary Sue on roids?
But either way I felt the need for Miss Perfect to die a horrid death...Yay Faith.

This gave me a warm tingly feeling inside. Now if only Faith could jump fics: There's a few MSs I've seen recently that would be improved by decapitation, or a horrible, disfiguring, disease.
