Like you I have so many issues with 'Empty Places'. I thought the Scoobies were all so incredibly stupid and ungrateful. My own biggest issue with the episode was Anya's speech on how Buffy was given her abilities, how she hadn't earned it and how she was luckier then the rest. My first thought to that was "What the hell??? If she hadn't earned it, then none of them sure as hell had!!!" and then no one defended her, they were all silent, like they were in agreement. Granted, Buffy was had made plenty mistakes of her own, but I always felt that they always held it against her. For example if Buffy had done what Willow had done, killing people horribly and trying to end the world, they never would have forgiven her, yet Willow gets forgiveness and sympathy. All right I know I should end my anti-Scooby rant, but there is just so much to rant about!

It's so nice that somewhere in the fanfic universe they get shown the light or get their comeuppances. They deserve it and I encourage you to do more Scooby bashing or at least give them the ability to think bigger and beyond themselves. Thanks for being a Pro-Buffy voice!!!

Thanks for the rant. Thrilled to hear that others have the same problems I do. Don't worry, I'll always be a pro-Buffy girl - even if I have to point out her flaws from time to time. I may temper my anger towards the Scoobies, depending on the season the story is in. If it's a post-'Empty Places' story, it's likely to be along same lines as this. I will *not* be convinced that she deserved it, not matter what anyone says!

This was absolutely great. Perfect...although I think the New Wesley would have been a bigger slap to Xander, seeing how Wesley grew and got respect and all...but I loved every chapter. Thank you for the best read I've had on this site.

I may do one where he leaves, I just need to figure out where to put him. I don't think making him percy would work for that unless he shoots a deatheater on returning home...

I don't know, it felt better for it to be the geeky version that could satisfy her where he couldn't that seemed the greater insult. Plus New Wesley did some stuff I wasn't completely thrilled about. I understand that he was in a bad place emotionally, but still...freaky sex with Lilah? (shudder!) Course, I think he should have told them to shove it when they came sniffing around for his help later. I love fics where he took off after they left him in the hospital.

Yeah. Now I just have to remember to mentioned every so often in Buffy's new and improved life - like once every year or two.

Oh! And as for the Doyle pairing thing? If not Buffy, then how's about Phoebe or Paige? I could see that working too. More likely with Paige than Phoebe, but who knows for certain... Your stories rock by the by!

I love that the Demon of Fear is afraid of Buffy, it's so cool and extremely funny. I am very eager to see what happens next in this wonderful series.

ALL demons fear The Slayer. Just because Buffy isn't the current one, doesn't change that fact. Now I'm heading back to Smallville as soon as my betas get finished with the next chapter.

You know of course that the mark of an uncreative, medicore, narcistic author is to
bash characters for no other reason than to go against the grain. Poor writing and
anger projection is not a substitute for creativeness in order to garner reviews.

That doesn't even make sense. If I wanted *good* reviews from a site that is currently very pro-Xander, I'd write him as a hero, not a loser. Unless you're suggesting I enjoy getting negative reviews. BTW, look up the word sarcasm. It was subtle and I was joking. This was a punishment fic, therefore what I write is going to hurt the ones being punished.

I personaly think you could of made the trio suffer more but, this works too.

It would be kind of a short romance don't you think? Wasn't he only there for like a year? But he certainly is yummy enough to match her up with aside from that. Would you mind if I used him as a match for someone else that I might send their way? Can't say who, 'cause it's a teaser.

Those Oracles always struck me as too one-dimensional - they needed *some* kind of personality.

I know that this wasn't what Buffy ended up with, but since it was Kennedy's punishment 'world', I figured it was okay to mess with what *really* happened to her.

I like where you're going with this so far. I'm a little surprised, however, that you decided to kill off Willow, especially since she had very little time to reflect on her bad choices before the end. One of the options open to the Tribunal in your previous story was to wipe her memory - it might have been suitable justice simply to return her to the shy, retiring computer nerd of the early Buffy seasons (a much moire likeable character) and to remove any recollections of Sunnydale and her life there.

You'll see how it turns out in the end. But mostly I did this so we wouldn't have to really think about them again and if they were going to come after Buffy and the others. Even with her memory wiped, Willow could still be a threat. Besides that option was before they found out how manipulative and dangerous she was.

Foolish girl. Power has a very heavy responsibility one Willow really didn't want to pay attention to. Willow got what she deserved. I love this story.

Thanks. It's a toss-up which chapter I enjoyed more - Kennedy or Xander. Kennedy's has the great 'in your face' quality, while Xander's is just plain funny to me. Don't worry, I'll post them real soon so you can see what I mean.
