Nothing about this one really jumps out at me. It's well written and Rory's shock at finding out Sheppard's a woman was an enjoyable moment but that's it really. I thought there was some resonance between John looking at Rory in New York and knowing she's McKay's daughter and Rory looking at Joan and knowing they've met before.
I did want to ask if there's a particular reason why you decided not to do a chapter crossing PoS with your Faith centric story An Ancient Dilemma? Faith and Rory together on Atlantis would have been interesting, there's a great parallel between Rory and the crisis she goes through when she finds out McKay's her father and Faith's realization about slayerhood being genetic. I would have like to see their perspectives on each other. I don't suppose you could add another chapter to this story? pretty please.

I have to say that I'm really enjoying the range of your writing. Going from the light comedy of the last chapter to the angst fest in this one really cleanses the emotional palate. You do a really amazing job of conveying Harry's isolation, desolation and hopelessness, which was equally apparent in the two original stories. Rory's attempt to connect with him in the aftermath and his opening up to her at least enough to begin to tell her about his real childhood and the hope that she might be the one to break through the walls he's built up is an excellent counterpoint to Harry's anguish. Having the end of the story be the first lines of the novel was a wonderful idea.

Review:
There's some really fantastic dialogue in this chapter. I love Ziva's quixotic quest to get Herrera promoted to Gunny by turning him into Gibbs. I see Rodney's decided to exercise his god given right to embarrass his daughter, he does have to make up for 25 years of not being around. Ziva chasing after Herrera was hilarious.
Are we ever going to get a sequel where we find out what Ziva did to Shepard?
I stayed up to a ridiculous time last night blasting through Physics of Spin in one sitting just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The Gilmore Girls as a show never appealed to me but I trust you enough as author to give it a shot and I was very pleasantly surprised. I promise to review it at some point and Agent Afloat is on my list of stories I've recommended and really should get round to reviewing soon.
Continuity question. I get this fic is in a separate universe to the original Physics of Spin but an event like Rory blowing up the labs wouldn't be effected by Ziva's presence. Can we expect to see a similar event in PoS?

you glorious fiend! I'm enjoying these little vignettes, but now I realize I haven't read the Harry Potter Xover with SGA that you wrote, so now I have to go read those first. *Pouts* It is a good thing I just finished my finals, or I'd have to track you down.
I love the fact that you had Ziva tackle Herrera. and the sneak maneuver that he and Lorne pulled was hilarious.

Excellent -- more 'Spin is always welcome. My only concern is that I can't work out whether this is a crossover-crossover, or crossover-crossover-crossover... I'm so confused.
