I almost feel a twinge of conscience at how happy this last piece makes me feel but then I remember just how much I hat Twilight and I just go back to smiling and chuckling.

Well, now the Twilight vampires can go back to being nice, normal, people-eating vampires. However, that means that Nessie is an orphan because vampires who aren't thralled won't keep raising some demon spawn.

Beautifully written Mal! But now you've got me seriously worried about what vampire Mal would be like -- another Spike, who still cares in his own way for his nearest and dearest after the change, or twisted like Angelus, or somewhere in between . . . or something altogether new?

I think Dru sees some of William's inner strength, so I think he would retain some of that caring... but he'd be scary!
