An update! I had almost given up hope. Loved all the little details: neighbors giving garlic as a welcome to the neighborhood present, demon convenience store owners stocking the arcane equivalents of bread and milk, Cordy macing the guy in the van offering her a ride. I'm looking forward to more.

Not only can I not believe that someone actually tried an Ernest crossover, but I can't believe how well you've got it working so far. The voice for Ernest is right on, down to the facial expressions and strangely poetic rants. I'm eagerly looking forward to more.

I'm liking it, very good characterization and pacing.

I just have one question. When Snyder is interviewing him he asks several questions in a row. One of them is, "Shoot a little heroine?" I was just wondering if it was, as it seemed at first glance, him asking about Ernest injecting some Horse into his veins, just misspelled, or if he was asking if Ernest wanted to kill Buffy. Knowing Snyder, either could be the truth.

As much as I wish it was a carefully embedded Freudian slip revealing Snyder's subconscious desire to do Buffy in, I have to admit, it was a typo. :)
