Review of chapter "Mm... Cheesecake...." from (Recent Donor)ArgyleButterfly
Review:
This was great. I can actually picture Blanche chasing after Xander. Thanks!
Comments from author:
I'm pretty sure Blanche would catch him too. And he'd say something like "well, better than mummy girl." Sorry I didn't thank you for your comment sooner. I didn't realize I'd received some here. Thank you so much.

Review:
The St. Olaf reference was absolutely hilarious and explains oh so much.
Comments from author:
It kind of does. It makes sense that Anya would create such an odd legacy. I'm so glad you liked it, and thanks for commenting on it.

haha

"You know Blanche, maybe you should date Xander. His fiance was 1,000 years old," Dorothy said.

:) nice fic
Comments from author:
I just had this mental image of Xander flailing while running from Blanche, and everyone just kind of staring and snickering while he runs.

I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for the review.

I'm glad you liked it. I liked the idea of this, of Dorothy being a Slayer, and I was terribly sad after Bea Arthur died. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for telling me.

Brilliant!!! I especially loved Rose.
Comments from author:
Yeah, Rose is just awesome, and I had fun writing this and deciding how they'd react to supernatural. Good times.

I just read your series and while they're all funny, this one is an absolute hoot.

Ma!
What?

Loved it!!
Comments from author:
Thanks! I have a few other ideas, but I'm trying to finish a couple of other stories first.

Thank you so much for reviewing!

Fun story and a nice tribute to Bea Arthur
Comments from author:
Thanks! I'm glad you thought it was a good tribute. It's the main reason I wrote it.

I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for the feedback.

Review:
Damn, but you're crazy (in the best possible way)!

PS- I miss Bea :(
Comments from author:
Yeah, I miss her too. I loved it when she would randomly pop up on shows and rock it, like when she was the awesome babysitter in "Malcolm in the Middle" who understood and got along with Dewey.

I'm glad you liked my insanity. Thanks!

Review:
LOL. Oh god, you really have the "girls'" voices down, that's wonderful. And I really love the idea of a white-haired slayer out there kicking ass and taking name! And the St. Olaf connection... ROFL
Comments from author:
Yeah, I thought Anyaka, Patron Saint, Olaf the troll, Scandanavia. It was kismet, it really was. I'm glad you think I got the voices down. I thought Dorothy would be a great slayer, just because she is smart and tough, but she was a teacher who enjoyed her job.

Thanks so much for the review!

Review:
Brilliant idea to cross these universes, a funny story - and finally an explanation for the fear of rabbits!
Comments from author:
Yeah, my idea was that she was upset about Olaf, and when she did the magic, the rabbits flipped out and attacked.

I'm glad you liked the idea behind this, and thanks for the review.

Review:
RAOTFL! Excellent and insane work. Dorothy really would have made such a kickass Slayer. Blanche the Succubus? It makes sense and explains so much. But Dorothy should have sensed her with her 'Spidey Senses'. Or maybe Dorothy didn't care at all. Lol! But what totally cracked me up, to the point I had to stop reading to catch my breath, was the story of Aud, Anyanka and the Rabbits. And I also loved how St. Olaf got its name: "So her name was really Olaf?" Blanche asked. "No, her name was Saint Anyaka, Destroyer of Rabbits and Vanquisher of the Demon Troll Olaf." Lol! You are totally whacked.

And I will also miss all the parts that Bea played as well as the wonderful woman she was.
Comments from author:
Yeah. It makes sense that the name was so long that the townsfolk would just edit it. And I figured that nearly being eaten by her own rabbits would be a good reason to be afraid of Rabbits.

I'm so glad that you liked this. I don't think Blanche is really a demon, I just think that Sophia would view it as a distinct possibliity.

Thanks so much for the review!

Review:
[utterly hysterical laughter} Oh, that was so funny. Well done. I could sorta see Dorothy as a slayer-house-mother though. I hope your muse and schedule will allow you to write and post more chapters on more stories sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm
Comments from author:
I'm working at a snail's pace, though my goal is to not post so many one shots, but to actually *gasp* finish a story!

"Revenge" is in the works to be finished.

I'm pleased that you enjoyed this! Dorothy always loved being a teacher, so I could see her liking the idea of helping younger Slayers.

Thanks for the review!

Review:
Oh, this is delightful! I particularly enjoyed the explanation of how a town came to be named after Anyanka, even if the name was eventually shortened to "Saint...Olaf"!
Comments from author:
Yeah, it just seemed like something the people of St. Olaf would do. Just for simplicity.

I'm glad you enjoyed this.

Thanks for the review!
