Oh, yeah. I just remembered another issue that I hope you address. Why did the whole second group regenerate at the same time like that? Why weren't they staggered out more in relation to when they actually died? I seriously doubt that they all died at the same moment.
Actually, I half-expected that Gunn would go down, then regenerate without anyone else noticing because they were all in battle, and maybe he'd rejoin the fight. Someone could have looked at him in disbelief, saying, "I thought you were dead," and he could respond with, "Yeah, but I got better." OK, maybe I'm just up after my bedtime and being silly here. But I still like this story you've started. =]

I am SO behind when it comes to Dr Who, but I'm loving the feel of this. I will certainly be tracking and watching for updates!
I wonder if Wesley's regeneration was a trigger that allowed any other Time Lords on Earth at this time to be able to regenerate (and if so, why him), or if it were something that just happened to coincide with his death that triggered the ability. That leads me to wonder if there will be others who have died previously that will now begin to regenerate when they weren't able to before. That could cause all sorts of interesting situations if there are dead-and-buried Time Lords that will now be crawling from their own graves like vamps do.

Looking forward to more. I think it's safe to say that the Doctor is going to be frustrated with how violent & weapon heavy THESE Timelords will be. I don't think they're going to be the type to sit out of the fight and they're VERY comfortable with using lethal force against their enemies. I do wonder about Buffy though, if she's one of these children that the Timelords 'saved', then why didn't she regenerate when she died after jumping off the tower? Did the PTB block it somehow? If they did, does that mean they INTENDED the First Evil showdown to happen?

I'm so glad you've responded to the challenge! So lots of new Time Lords? That's good. Triggered by Wesley's regeneration I suppose. But using Lindsey as well - that's brilliant. Plus Rose *and* Donna, hooray!
Let me know if you want any title art or anything, since you answered the challenge, you're entitled.
Lol, Tanydwr

Well, if you're offering... Something like the art that went with the challenge. I saw that before the challenge itself, and it's what gave me the initial idea.
That being said, I'm glad you like it so far.

Interesting beginning but with so many questions. For a bit I was put off by Dawn's remarks after everyones' deaths. But then I figured she was in shock so I let it go. But what was different about this death that the previous two deaths didn't cause Buffy to regenerate? I look forward to finding out more.

That WILL be explained. I just couldn't fit it into this chapter.

An intriguing concept to start with. I do find the survivors being so flippant as they sit in the aftermath to be out of character. Dawn in particular has just lost her entire family.
I do find it stretches that willing suspension of disbelief to nigh on snapping to include Buffy among the Time Lord children. It makes no sense given that she was dead and buried for a year, unless you plan to go back and ret-con those events.

They were in shock. There would have been much crying later.
I DO have an explanation for why Buffy didn't revert back then. Give me time.
