Review of chapter "Prologue: Telling Giles" from Harry
Review:
Maggie Walsh caused B to get PREGNANT? If it were possible, I'd bring the lady back from the dead, JUST TO SEND HER BACK AGAIN!
Comments from author:
A few times, each one more painful than the one before.

My first choice would be # 2 Bobby Goren, seconed choice # 5 and third choice # 7
Comments from author:
I would have loved Goren! One of the winners was House, but not sure if you'll like where I took that story. Horatio was another one of my fav daddy candidates, too.

Review:
Johnny Smith is my first choice because i think he really deserves to get a new chance at having a family, he and Buffy would also be able to help each other with there strange powers.

Wesley is my second choice because it could be fun watching how they would be parenting together hehe.

Luke is my third choice because he would do everything he could to give her and the baby safety and stability and she really deserves that.

Review:
My first choice would be Luke Danes, because he's repeatedly shown himself to be excellent, supportive, loving dad material.

My second choice would be Tim McGee, because finding out he's a dad might be just the confidence-builder he needs in order to begin to appreciate his own talents and worth.

My third choice would be Bobby Goren, just because he seemed to want it so much.

Hi, just re-reading because you are doing the Daddy-revelation and there was something in this one that is bothering me. You don't measure the amount of hormone in someone's blood to know "how pregnant" they are. There is either enough to show up on a test or there isn't.

The way that the doctor can tell how far along a pregnancy has developed is by the size of the fetus/womb. This can be discovered by feel, or by ultrasound. It is easily accurate enough to be able to tell Buffy that she is about 10 weeks pregnant. My own OB/GYN was pretty much sure at 10 weeks just from the feel that I was pregnant with a multiple (it turned out to be twins). So, Buffy should have said that the doctor told her that she was "measuring about 10 weeks along." I know, a nit-picky thing, but I had to mention it.

Anyway, I am enjoying this series, and don't even know who I want to vote for being the actual daddy (beyond it being someone that will produce more than a one-shot). Personally, it would be "fun" and extremely awkward if Maggie had done some gene-splicing and the "father" was in fact three or four different people. How would they explain that to some of the daddy candidates? Some of them would not have any issue with believing it, but it would still be difficult to deal with. Looking forward to whatever you decide to do!
Comments from author:
Actually they can measure both ways. When a friend miscarried, the doctor explained to her the different levels of HcG in her blood and that it could estimate approximately how pregnant she was - or in this case, show that she wasn't anymore.

Glad you like the series. Surprised how many people are hoping for a gene-splicing deal. It might be a little cruel to do to everyone though. Maybe for a different daddy series/story.

Hi! I have narrowed it down to four:

1. Jethro Gibbs – NCIS- I think he deserves another go at fatherhood, and like Abby says 'he's a silver fox!'

2. James Wilson – House, M.D.- I think he's so cute! Ever since seeing him in Kenneth Branaugh's adaptation of 'Much Ado About Nothing' I have wanted to just pinch his cheeks he's so adorable! Wilson needs to have a functional relationship with someone, and it's not House!

3. Johnny Smith – The Dead Zone- He also deserves another chance at happiness. And he's so cute! Did anybody actually think that skinny kid in 'The Breakfast Club' would turn into this hottie? @_@

4. Gregory House – House, M.D.- I know there is only supposed to be three but I love House! It would be wonderful if something could pull him out of his downward spiral of self destruction and despair. I would like to see him channeling his energy into something other than making himself and everyone else miserable.

So that's my vote! Good Luck!

This is so good, very creative. As for the baby daddy I vote for a twins scenario, you know the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito movie where Arnold is a supper human created in an experiment that involved multiple fathers and one mother. They spun down the sperm into a "genetic milkshake" (there words not mine) and separated out everything that wasn't useful or desirable and what was left was only the good qualities. Devito was the "crap that was left over" (again their words not mine). This would give Buffy an army of baby daddy s, wouldn't necessarily screw up any relationships the dads have like Luke and Lorelai or Leo and Piper, also this concept allows for the use of the term Frankin sperm.
Comments from author:
Well, I certainly don't like the "crap that was left over" angle, but the milkshake idea isn't so bad. Not for this series though. But I'll keep it in mind for the future.
