Review of chapter "a one-girl army (part 2)" from Glumski
Ohh, yes, this is good! I'm not sure about the crossover part; I've never watched The Fugitive and it's been quite some time since Bourne but this is pretty much great. The characterizations of Buffy and Angelus are true to the show and the plot (along with all those secondary plot lines) seems to be thought of very well. I'd love to see more of this and especially how all those threads will fit together. But well, this looks kind of abandoned...

This definitely has some potential, I'm looking forward to seeing how you bring the various threads together, and I'm wondering if the Mayor will frame Buffy for whatever nastiness he arranges to befall the corruption taskforce. Also, a minor nitpick, you have Chihuahua misspelled in the Mayor scene in chapter 3.

thanks! :D the threads are going to start intertwining pretty quick from here on in.

and thank you for pointing out the typo, it has been amended.

Review of chapter "a one-girl army (part 1)" from becuzitswrong
This story has tremendous potential. I like the chaotic nature of what is happening. After all, all systems tend towards chaos. We, as humans, try to apply order to the natural chaos of the universe and still chaos happens. So any change you make towards canon can result in huge changes per the butterfly effect.

One thing, though, that I was curious about. Why the video camera and Andrew? Most malls have built in surveillance systems with cameras everyone. It's fanon that a blurry video of a blonde girl was seen firing a rocket launcher, but it could just as easily be canon. The way I always saw it was the Council squashed the video tape (from mall security). They were able to do so primarily because there were no deaths, just property damage, covered by insurance. In your changed world, there's going to be a lot of bodies, causing an unsquashable investigation. So video taped evidence of someone firing a rocket launcher in a mall. And you could easily have it catch her full face on so that it is recognizably Buffy Summers.

thank you so much for thinking so, what a complement! yes, chaos is abounding, and the butterfly will be in full effect :)

the next part should fill in the gaps of 'why', but you pretty much nailed the trajectory pretty well on the head! :) andrew's crazy film obsession will eventually factor in. all in due time...

thanks for the comment and curiosity!

hm, so Andrew gets Buffy firing a freaking rocket launcher in a mall on videotape? And the mayor jumps at the chance to divert attention from him to her? That could work. Once it gets to a federal level the Council would find it hard to use its influence to quash an investigation...and any efforts it did make would help the mayor! Multiple deaths at the mall, and B. gets charged with them? Ouch.
Sounds like Xander is gone...
Comments from author:
in the next couple chapters, crazy events will unfold, and the direction of the story will be a little more clear. thanks for the musing!

Review of chapter "Setting stages" from PATM
I really lucked into this one and completely unexpected too. I prefer a canon story that is twisted into unfamiliarity
rather alternative universe that tries to salt in canon points especially in the first three seasons. To me (?!), canon
usually drags the story to boring soapishness as Luke Perry does in the Original Movie. Giving the Mayor and his cronies
more to do and then non canon players? Bring it on... Hey how about...?

thanks for your comment!

yeah, it's gonna be loosely cannon for one more major scene, then it's gonna be all crossfire- er, i mean crossover...;)

The mayor is such an awesome character, so jovially evil. and everybody love a devious plotter...

LOL the lecturing Gerard! Not really surprising though; he's a very charismatic public speaker. He just normally is barking out orders. Hope Buffy is able to take out the remaining members of the Scourge of Europe when she blows up the Judge. Maybe she can if she doesn't stop to quip. That's what gave Angelus and Drucilla the chance to escape before. Just fire the rocket launcher and duck, Buffy!
Comments from author:
Danka! yeah, sam is a pretty charismatic guy....and soon shall the barking orders commence!

you make a good point about the quiping, but that's like her thing! that and spin kicks.
