Review of chapter "What's My Line?" from agnar
*sigh* I just don't get it, how you manage to continually change circumstances, yet everyone STILL does the same as canon.

Spike had to pay for that book, so he 'can't afford a full contract' yet somehow he pays for the SAME 3 fucking assassins as canon! So what the hell was the POINT of that whole 'change' to canon???

Buffy is still the empty headed bimbo wanting desperately to return to being Harmony rather than being a slayer or thor's heir, and she still spends ALL of her fucking time bitching and moaning how she's alone and destined to die and blah blah blah!

Tiresome, boring and utterly fucking pointless, I could just go watch the show if I wanted all the characters to behave EXACTLY the same as canon.

I get that folks outside the 4-some will behave the same as canon, mostly, until they know of the Aesir, but you also have the scoobies, especially buffy and xander, behaving EXACTLY the same as canon, as if they didn't get uber-mystical artifacts that can talk to them and super power ups.

I'm struggling to keep reading this in the hopes you actually take a fucking chance at some point and give the scoobies some actual character growth that wasn't plotted out by Joss in the show. Oh, maybe in season 7 Giles gets his eye poked out instead of Xander since he's Odin's heir, huh? That seems about the extent of the ACTUAL personal growth changes you seem willing to go for.

Review of chapter "Striving for the Positive" from agnar
For fucks sake! You're STILL going to put us through the fucking joke/disaster that is buffy/angel????

What is the fucking point then of the power ups, making them another fucking race if you're still intent on slogging us through canon with them apparently making ALL the same fucking decisions as canon?

Review of chapter "The Opening Move" from Batamut
How did Oz react fast enough to place his body in front of Willow? I mean if there was only one shot and there wasn't much of a warning? (I take Buffy having no time to react meaning the same as no warning)
Comments from author:
When the assassin drew her firearm, Oz reacted while Buffy was still considering the situation. There was plenty of time for Buffy to act, but in this case, she used that time to come to grips with the situation.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from eternalfox
Are you going with the Norse mythology or the Marvel Norse mythology?
Comments from author:
More Norse than Marvel, but I also go with the idea that the mythology didn't get things right because they were passed down from generation to generation by people who had only limited interactions with the Aesir.

Review of chapter "What's My Line?" from justapiranha
I have to admit i was a little fearful to read this story at first, I was worried that it was one of those super power Xander and dumb, bitchy, weak buffy storie lines. But after reading iron buffy decided to give it a shot. And I'm happy i did! I really like storys that keep the characters to cannon, while making them stronger, but not invincible. Keep up the good work and update Iron Buffy soon.
Comments from author:
I don't consider Buffy either dumb, weak, and only occasionally bitchy but everybody is entitled to bitch once in a while. As for Xander, getting superpowers won't suddenly make him turn against his friends because he cares.

As for keeping characters to canon and not invincible, I try though they will diverge more from canon as time progresses.

Thanks for the review and I'll do my best.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from anotherlostsoul
You've taken a very interesting idea and gone equally interesting places with it. I am glad to be counted among the sources of inspiration for what you've done here and I look forward to seeing where else this goes.
Comments from author:
Thanks, I believe in giving credit where credit is due and your story was one of the stories that got me thinking of this. Happy to hear you liked it, be sure to check out 'Thunderer's Summer'. It's the next story in the series though not the real sequel.

Review of chapter "New Players in Town" from TwoBlackDragons
Off is spelled with two effs not one. The only typos I've seen in the three chapters I've read so far you've used just one eff and it's in all three.

Good story so far though.
Comments from author:
I try, but little errors like that do tend to slip through from time to time even with a beta-reader.

But I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the story regardless.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from MemoryKing
Lost track of the story when I started to go here less often, but getting caught up all at once was a really entertaining experience so everything is good.

There were a lot of things I liked here, Buffy not being a Slayer negates the plot of the last season, and Angel still having his soul was pretty welcome as well. The climax was great because reading the same drama often gets old fast, and characterisation came out rock solid.

Faith is a great character, but I can't recall any AUs featuring Kendra in Season Three, so we'll see what happens with her continued survival.

Have trouble thinking of anything else to add, but then again it's getting pretty late.

Thanks for writing!
Comments from author:
Well, glad to hear you liked the story. And funnily enough, I started this story after I'd thought up the ending.

Faith and Kendra, I already know how I want to handle them, the clues are in the story.

You're welcome, hope you'll like the sequel as well.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from Senko
Interesting story with nice pacing. Looking forward to the sequel, I noticed you mentioned other mythologies which should be interesting especially if other "normal people" have gotten a similar power from their respective pantheon.
Comments from author:
Thank you, glad to hear you liked the story. As for other mythologies, I'll dive into that a little bit in the sequel.
