For some reason I get the image of Xander spotting her parents, freezing for a moment and then laughing so hard he actually falls over. When he finally can speak, he'd mutter something about "par for the course," which, considering his love life to that point, it would be. Though I find it hard to imagine Goliath's reaction to Xander''s reaction.

I actually had a very similar idea and have written a couple of ideas, but haven't really had time with RL to pull them together, but I'll keep it in mind when I'm editing.
I'd have to believe that, over their millenia of existence, there's no way that Gargoyles and Slayers wouldn't have come into contact with one another, considering the circles in which they moved. Combine that with the Gargoyles' demonic appearance and the Watchers' "win one for man, the lesser animal!" attitude, I doubt those encounters were ever pleasant. Still, Xander's probably the least Watchery Watcher that ever Watched a Watch-ee, so this meeting should be the stuff of legends.
Which is why I'd very much like for you to continue it.

Sounds good. I hope that Goliath doesn't think of Xander like one of the Quarrymen. Completely different personality there. Xander knows that there are nice demons. Looking forward to more.

Not a bad start, you need to flesh it out a bit more and make sure you put something in when you switch scenes or you will confuse people, but it's a nice little start... i'll be keeping an eye on this.
